Great, tutorial although I did feel I wanted to fast forward a bit as there was also unrelated parts not related to combining cells. What I would suggest is talking about how to use the combined cell data. If you try and copy out the combined text you will only see the formula. You can do this by copying the column into a text editor and then back into excel. Might be useful for some people (it was me!). Otherwise, this tutorial was just what I needed! Thank you.

Is there a way to add the data from one cell to another without creating a third cell for the sum function?

Let's say I have a list of items with charges for each. But some items are listed multiple times. I would like the multiples to be added together and thus consolidate into one entry on the list. What command could I give excel to add matching items together?
