You are correct, snow and camouflage together. That is why we have the minus 1 modifier for spotting. Thanks for watching.

Awesome video Dave. I'm thinking of buying this game but I guess you have to buy the1st vol to play the second vol. Expensive.

You're correct. You have to own Vol.1 to play Vol. 2. Buy volume 1, and see how much you like it. I think you will. Then you can figure out Vol. 2.

Great video. Did your soldiers win any medals? The reason i'm asking is that i've just got the game and can't find any rules on winning medals, even though it mentions the ability to win medals on the back of the box. This does look to be a great system, looking forward to get into the two volumes.

I think you have to play the campaign game to win the medals.

excellent video, thanks! just a question: when @1:06:24 Co-driver is firing, shouldn't it use MG34 instead of MAIN GUN (used by gunner)?

That sounds correct.

I'm assuming that you used the large battle option for issuing orders to the Germans? Also, when you make a mistake, can you please explain exactly what it was. I realize that it might make the video a little longer, but a full explanation is very helpful. Anyway, keep the series coming.

Two totally different experiences. I used to play Ambush, and Combat! reminds me of that, with a lot of replayability. With Warfighter, you get the feel of being with that individual soldier fighting every step of the way. I don't think I can pick, because I really like them both. I think you will just have to pick one, and give it a try.

Caveat - I might be playing wrong (haha), and I don't have my rules in front of me, but...With Off Board Artillery, I thought that you first rolled for direction, then rolled the "Scatter" die for distance? Maybe that is what you did, but it would be even more surprising if you rolled "0" four times, then "1" four times!!

I did roll location first, and then scatter. And I did roll 0 four times. But I had scatter to direction 6 twice, direction 1 once, and direction 2 once. Unfortunate rolls on my part.

@@davesgamingcave7862 I thought you then roll distance based on the scenario (d6 hexes in this scenario). Per the rules ver. 1.20 page 46. "For each attack now roll 1D6 for the direction and the appropriate die or dice as specified in the Event. In the Event above each attack will scatter 1D6 hexes."
