Can't wait for the next one. You're becoming one of my favorite Combat Mission AAR creators.

Wow, you absolutely steamrolled this mission. I had much poorer results--decided to send a squad into the city which was... a terrible idea. Much smarter to use the squads in the supported manner you did here, rather than pretending recon guys are ninjas that can effortlessly pass through a sleepy coastal town unnoticed. Excellent planning and way to show how its done!

I love the commentary it's postal guy leading an Army and your drawings and pacing of videos is comparable to UsuallyHapless and imo I much prefer your videos to his now that I've found them. Drawings allow for a much better awareness of each scenario

Great video as always, I STRONGLY recommend adding in the "syrian realism" mod, It gives the syrians much more realistic uniforms (especially 'special forces' with their dumb stock black uniform) and greater variety. Also check the sound mods, HQS was already mentioned and there's another one I think.

@@blueballz2521 Would also recommend the ME Experience mod--makes smoke, explosion, tracer, muzzleflash etc. effects much more realistic. I can send you the files if you're interested.

installed the HQS 5.0 sound Mod and I'm liking the feel of it. Beefier, boomier, quite nice.

@@blueballz2521 That looks like the one! I'm a fan of smaller/quicker flash and more smokey explosions, subdued tracers and muzzleflash. But as you can see the mod lets you mix and match to taste. Just find the ones you prefer, and the only time you need to go into folders and switch it up is if you know you'll be doing night scenarios.

Typically, I max them out, then either adjust or call them off.

@@blueballz2521 especially in urban environments, the FO could bite 1 any turn. its best to plan for this by at least dropping all OR nothing, then adjust pixel movement thru destroyed area.

If this is the type of thing you are into , absolutely, you will be hard set to find another game that does what this one does. I’ve been searching since 2007, haven’t found one yet.
