This video is part of the same session as the last one so I continued to forget to complete all moves before combat. One more thing; on one occasion I moved a Portuguese light unit 2 spaces and then melee, oops! Of course, if moving 2 spaces they shouldn't battle. Apologies for this. Don't do it folks 😊

By the letter of the rules as written you are supposed to pick which units are ordered, then move all ordered units, then battle with all ordered units. This strict sequencing could make a difference in some situations (for instance preventing an enemy unit from retreating because you blocked their retreat with one ordered unit before battling with another). Great playthrough!

Hi Jon! Yes of course you're absolutely correct. I mentioned this on the blurb for my last video and this section was filmed during the same session. I just cut it to shorten the last video. I just didn't remember to complete the moves First. I started that way and continued. So annoying, and yes it would certainly have made a difference on occassion! Great series of videos, very helpful. in the Rule Book, top of page 18, the text seems to suggest a different course of action on reinforcements. It says that if the value is not in the range printed on a Location, you discard the Hostile card. In the game, you drew Hostile cards with a greater number, but played them on he location. Am I misunderstanding something? Cheers!
