Saludos always from nicaragua we waching your videos. We love that olds detroit
great vid god bless
I got a couple of VT555 342hp engines from a guy doing a similar thing but was putting in Iveco marine 470hp motors, I got motors for rat truck builds, these 6v71,s probably low hrs compared to truck motors you find,
I did not expect to see a local boat getting a refit and some major surgery when I tuned in today. She is definitely in good hands. I hope to see her back for charter season; Maybe with some twin QSL9s ?

Thanks for watching!
I would love to have one of those Detroit's
Frank ever quits, Tony's fucked.
Install new big 3 blade or 4 blade Michigan DQX props!
Why not rebuild the Detroit’s? They are good engines and so easy to rebuild.

The detroits arent bad engines but the new engines will be more smooth, quiet and efficient. Common rail engines are just so much nicer to be around.

@@SeaboardMarineIncVideos true (at least the smoother and quieter part). We’re those 6v71s?

@@SeaboardMarineIncVideos do you think the efficiency gains will be significant? Those old DDs were pretty efficient with their direct unit injectors and no emission controls.
