While raising new column from ground, the rods become rust due to rain. Do we need to apply rust remover and then anti corrosion coating required or this light rust over TMT surface is expected during rainy season or this can be ignorable ? Kindly give your comments engineer sir.

That one not a problem .. those gets arrested after concreting .. Here I mention Rust is one in which rods are affected more .. Difference can be noted between these two

Helo sir, I have a question I have built ground floor framed structure with 4 ×12mm rod 9 by 9 inch pillar with span distance 10 feet every pillars in length..( 52 by 26 feet) with foot depth 6 feet from ground level in medium rock soil ( sand soil ) Also 9 by 9 wall built through out the building means composite structure ( double the strength in ground floor) At this condition can we build G+2 story by frame work? Or if we need to build g+2 what are compulsory things to do for G+2 at this condition ,Plz reply

Hi Sir, Nice useful video. Due to project delay unused tmt bars are lying outside for past 5 months. Some rust is there Can we use them for construction now after using the rust and anti corrosive layers. Please suggest any branded rust remover and anti corrosive agent. Thanks

Any of Proper Anti Corrosive paint shall be used and bars shall be used after treatment

Ok sir ,but in case of column rod also getting corroded , during period of construction process. So can we proceed column concreting on that column rods without any attention for that corrosion?

Sir , waterproofing the entire building is necessary or not????

8 years old roof rod extended outside ...now additional roof extention .... rod is rusted fully....whether rust makes rod weak..? Or it is strong.?

Sir we are adding first floor to our our house (load bearing structure). For roof we have put galvanized sheet and false ceiling. Can we add rooms/toilets using drywall partitions?

No mam, You can't use Dry wall partition at places subjected to Dampness .. Particularly gypsum board like that can't be used ..
