I picked up a colt 1903 in 32 several years ago. Had repro grips and the finish was basically gone. The metal was not rusted or pitted. So I had it cerakoted amd got new silvet medallion wood grips. Id like to get a 380 version now.

My love for these came from my Grandpa's Colt 1908 in 380. I have since replaced this 1903 with a much nicer Colt 1903. Will do a review on that one in the future. Sounds like you have made a nice 32 for your collection. They are so much fun to shoot! Thanks for supporting the channel

Theres a few nice Colt 1903s for sale right now online. During covid even the most beat specimens were still selling for 1k Thats super cool that one went back to the factory

Yeah the history is so cool. The 1903 is such a great firearm, and the original blue is breathtaking. This one was so nice to do the research on and learn about. Thanks for supporting the channel!

Now this would be a decent trade for some of those out of the ordinary type guns

This is difficult a unique one for sure. I don't know why, but I have always liked the shorter slide 1903 opposed to the longer slide.

what series is the one without the rampant horse markings?

I believe they all had the rampart Colt. They just removed the circle it was in, in 1912
