i started buying more colorful clothes when i found you!!

I find it weird that so many people see vibrant colors as daring and out of their comfort zone. For me colorful is the default, how I feel most comfortable. Wearing browns and earthy tones and sober outfits is the odd option. I don't see it as daring to do that, but it does make me very uncomfortable. A bit like wearing somebody else's skin. I had this brown corduroy skirt a few years ago. I wore it out one time, and it felt so off on me and I knew I would never wear it again, so I donated it.

Hi, ive been building my closet and filling them with pastel color pieces for 5 months now but my parents doesnt like it cause they said its too "feminine" and now i dont have the confidence to buy new pastel pieces cause they always insult my preferences. Now im back to wearing neutral colors and yes of course im happy but idk what to do with my pastel outfits :(
