I love the colour! It is very calming. That said, I agree with Phillip. Choose colours that you love. Don't worry about anyone else's opinion. You have to live with it, not us. Trust your gut. You have always made such beautiful choices!

I loved the color right from the beginning. It’s light enough to avoid sage territory, and contains enough blue to avoid greeeen territory. Perfect! 👍🏼 🎉

Beautiful color choice!! Perfect for a north facing room. And a color that is a perfect background for all the colors that one’s wardrobe holds.

How fortunate you are to have Jonathan on site: he is an organized, efficient and clean painter; his eye misses nothing, his fill technique is like an old-school (read 'skilled tradesman') plasterer, he uses brushes only (much better finish) except for the ceiling - where also he is up close instead of long-pole from the floor - making for more thorough coverage. He is a 'natural' and will be much in demand. That said, the colour is splendid; the proposed paper perfect.

My wife is an artist and a very good one. One of the tips when painting a landscape is the well recognized rule .... always include a touch of red

It is also so satisfying to see the painter at a 0.25 speed. Still fast enough to see progress without getting bored. Especially when he did the primer. And yes, the faded red adds so much life to the color (which I already liked). Can't wait for the wallpaper!

Oh, I really love the color! At first it did look a bit too minty and surgical, but then it became warmer and "dirtier" in a good way. The pop of red is so true! They do it in oil painting. I didn't know it was a thing in decor, and turns out I've applied it intuitively, even though I'm not a red lover. But a small cherry-red book or vase really ties everything together. Now let's go for the pièce de resistance, the bedroom! Can't wait.

My daughter’s room is north facing. Previous owners had painted it a dark pumpkin shade, just horrible, very dark and gloomy. We tried more than a few colors to neutralize and lift the room, nothing worked. Six coats later a lighter version of the color you just used brought the room to life. It is gorgeous, soft, bright and warm.

I am so glad y’all chose to see the color through and painted the final coat, before you picked a different color. I know not everyone has the creative ability to “see” intuitively but as a fellow creative I get a bit worn out when people, in the middle of the creative process, abandon the plan they worked hard to come up with. I understand that it can be more expensive to fix something after it is fully painted, but seeing it through, just might be the right solution. I totally know this is your space and you need to do what feels good and right for you, but I just am grateful you waited until the final coat to make your decision!
