COLOSSAL SMALL BOAT NETTING !! BASS MANIA, WRASSE , BREAM & MEASURING CATCH
An Amazing day I was lucky enough to go out once again with a friend of mine and very experienced young commercial fisherman ! we jumped in his tractor and headed down the beach , straight out in his 12ft small bay boat in the hope of finding some wrasse for his commercial crab pots and some bass to land to the wholesaler let's just say the trip certainly was special !!

Now we all know where you keep the key to the wheelhouse
Good catch, heavy work though. Interesting watching these fishermen work, the seaweed is such a nuisance.

Hi Patrick, we check the bass also in the boat before we land, anything to small goes back while at sea and then in size come home , all the bass we brought ashore were insize the measuring was for viewers to see 😃 thanks for watching

awesome video gives a real insight into inshore fishing. Roughly how much was that box of bass worth for him?

Thanks Jack I'm guessing around £100 ish 😃
wow what a difference a different council makes! any public slipways here have bollards or a gate, no longer allowed since the early 90s! here you have to be in a boat club or pound. too many health and safety regs! also, im assuming this is a really recent shoot and haul? do you not get the spiders like us here? (sussex coast) its not possible to static net after april here. oh and great content neil! cheers

Good day !! Haha yeah he will change it 😉 his little boat is sealed there was lots of water from the seaweed and the nets but those little boats can take a lot of abuse haha, the cleaning the nets is the tiring part but also part of the job 😄 many thanks for watching
