One of the most breathtaking versions of the most breathtaking Disney song. Great job!

Whether you're skin color is white, black, or any of the many many shades in between. We are not truly that of our history, we are of our actions and decisions. We are children of the Earth, and as such, though I may not be Native American and can not speak for them, I can say this, it was a beautiful flute rendition of the song, and I thank you for that.

You do realize that this is a crappy disney song from a movie that completely covered up the real truth about Pocahontas real life. It was NOT sweet & loving like Disney portrayed. She NEVER married John Smith. She was stolen from her people & her son. Once she was taken she never saw her family & people again. Pocahontas was sexually & physically abused by john rolfe. Pocahontas was forced into marriage with her British husband John Rolfe in 1614. She was forced to go to england with him & portray herself to be white. She died in england & is buried there.

Weetamoo, my grandmother did not drown crossing a river on a makeshift raft. She was captured, while fighting to protect our elders, women and children. Gang raped in every way possible, tortured, decapitated. Head stuck on a pole, terrifying the vulnerable about to be sent into slavery. Families broken apart, early death. This video for me, as a Native....feels more like witnessing a geo-engineeed cloud, rather than one made by Creator. 👣🐾

@@ravenghostly1472 Raven.. Good points. I really like the song and the message, and many people do, even though the movie does not reflect the worst parts of the history. Mankind has shared a brutal history. I lived in Kansas most of my life. Years ago, when visiting a small town, I was talking to a school teacher. She explained the ethnic divide there that was brought over with settlers and they had a mutual agreement "not to marry across the local creek", to preserve the bias. My wife was in Canada so I moved here. I have an historian friend, and I asked him why the Eskimos and other indigenous groups had settled in such harsh environment, while other tribes had migrated further south. He said that when they tried they were killed by other indigenous groups / tribes , so they remained there. Throughout history the same story , over and over again.

you can't listen to this without closing your eyes. breathtaking. absolutely breathtaking ✨

My grandpa used to make those types of flutes...before he passed of old age...he was 97. Love you Grandpa you will always be in my heart!!

This song makes me cry every time I listen to it. Fills me with so much emotion. Great job on this video though. I’ve been playing for a few years now, going to give this one a try. My mother ordered me the Black Walnut Crow Flute G, this morning. Sadly I didn’t see this beforehand to give her the code. But again great video and thanks for making me cry lol. Much love

I've watched some of your video's first was colors of the wind, I wanted to get a decent native American style flute before, the beautiful music they make seems to touch a place which no other instrument does. I'll just be getting a decent flute nothing fancy, one that plays well. I've never played an instrument, hoping I'll just be able to learn over time. Wish me luck.
