THIS!! YES!!! THIS is a return to the teaching videos so many of us fell in love with you over!!! Name the pattern, how to cut and piece the blocks, a quick instruction on constructing the rows and then your personal touch on the quilting. Telling us where to go for more in depth instruction than a quick tutorial. With some cute humor mixed in. I could watch this type of video with you all day long!!! I do see in the comments that a lot of people do like the new style too. Maybe mix it up? Do this style one week, the new style the next, rotate them so there is something for your old and new fans? Just a suggestion. :)

Hi Angela, I use a permanent marker to darken the edges of my templates. Usually I mark out like an 1/8 of an inch, kind of like how a paper pattern piece looks. Having the darkened edge makes it sooo much easier to see. I use your idea as well of taping templates to rules if possible. Thanks for all your amazing videos I've watched many of them. I love the piecing part, quilting I still hate to do, but am working on my attitude since watching your videos, cause you make it fun! Lol

@@user-hl7hh7fc2i I would suggest looking it up online for standard sizes. That's what I did. It says queen is 90x108 and king is 110x108. I have made these sizes, but to be sure, I added another boarder of a couple extra inches. Good luck!

I save my old cutting mats and cut out templates from the less used areas. You have to have a strong pair of scissors to do this, but they make nice templates that last. Also I mark the shape on a ruler with tape, similar to your taping the pattern on your ruler. We should have a whose got the most plastic rulers contest...

I kept wanting to pass it through the screen for you to see if it would work for you. That would have been helpful. But you did come up with great solution for those other pieces. And to bring up what another person suggest.....back in the day we used sandpaper.
