Colorado powder days from the 2020-2021 Pandemic Season at Breckenridge, Snowmass, Eldora, Winter Park, Arapahoe Basin, and Copper Mountain. With a reservation system of some sort implemented at all of the resorts, it made me commit to my days and kept me from bailing when the snow report wasn't all I had hoped it would be. This led to many amazing days I normally wouldn't have experienced. February and March also produced some excellent snowfall even though the snowpack as a whole stayed below average throughout the year.
This was actually one of my best seasons to date with 48 days on the slopes, including 39 First Chairs. I also got in some incredible hikes at Breckenridge and a ridiculous day doing laps through the Hanging Valley at Snowmass on a day when 8 inches fell between the 5am report and 10am. Leading up to the season, I also decided to film every first run of the day and bought the latest GoPro Hero 9 with the Max Lens Mod which really helped capture more vertical field of view of the skis and sky while also making the selfie stick footage horizon-locked. It was still a huge improvement even though the setting max out at 2.7k@30fps when I really want 60fps. This specific video is a compilation of my favorite days. I also took this opportunity to practice with Adobe After Effects and learn some new editing skills.

22:22 Arapahoe Basin - An incredible 7" day catching rope drops at both The Beavers and Montezuma Bowl.
24:19 Copper Mountain - Powder first tracks down Formidable, Rosi's Run, and rope drops in Spaulding Bowl.
