I live in Colorado and am looking forward to being able to lane-filter. I’ve done lane-splitting in California while visiting there, and it is definitely a game-changer. Being that it will initially only be legal for three years in Colorado, I do hope they extend it, as well as expand it to something closer to lane-splitting, although, I’m not going to hold my breath on that last note.
america has much larger and wider roads. in europe and asia, roads are..... tighter
The new law will help motorcycle and scooter food delivery workers most.
There are laws when filtering.. if the traffic is stopped when doing so.. there's is 15mph while ours is 20MPH.
i'm in california and i've come across a few butthurt car drivers who think it's illegal. they are so entitled with that cage of metal surrounding them 🤣
Filter/split makes accidents go down but incidents go up, less likely from a oopsy but more likely to be a victim of RAGE
😏from India!
If traffic is stopped or very very slow it's safe. How is this even a question?

Because there are pedestrians which literally do not care: they see an opportunity and walk. In my opinion, with stopped traffic and 15mph limit it should be adopted in all states.
