Too many who are not good at driving on snow and ice go out anyway. As a trucker who is good at driving on ice only real challenge is avoiding those who greatly lack ice driving skills.

Snowstorms have been going on the higher elevations like the fourteeners, the Sierra Mountains of California, the Cascades Mountains of Western Washington since the beginning of time. When I was in the USAF, my wife and myself went on a honeymoon to Rocky Mountain National Park in late May, 1977. When we were crossing Trail Ridge Road, snowplow trucks were going back to Estes Park. Because the previous night it snowed above 10,000 feet. It didn't make a difference that the winter of 1976-1977 was a mild winter. By the way, I have driven across Wyoming, Utah, Colorado, and New Mexico all in winter months. Except for when I was in the military, I lived all my life in Michigan.

BS....bad driving caused this. Especially truck driver's. They are all equipped to be notified of all storms arriving so they can be prepared.

Here's to all those people I grew up with in alabama, weed is legal snowboarding, I hope they were in all this mess and enjoying it.

It's Not Unusual for it to snow around Denver in May. And big rigs are required to carry traction devices just in case until the end of May. The sun has been very active last week. And it tends to control Earth's weather. With what just took place you can see a uptick in large earthquakes also. The biggest problem is our magnetic field is weakening. And that allows more solar radiation to penetrate. It's not secret they just don't talk about it. 🚜🤠🐂

Denver is over 5,000 feet, Colorado Springs is over 6,000 feet. As you head into the mountains, the elevation just goes up from there.

GLOBAL WARMING??? HAHA! Canada is used to snow in May, June & July. We are lucky to get 2 weeks of hot weather in Aug. Luckier still to have warm Fall months. We are smarter in Canada to leave our winter tires on after March. I bet some of the USA people ask, "what are snow or winter tires?"
