I dig warmer videos too. Not sure why, but always felt that way. Good video.
Nice video man, I enjoyed watching your process!
Thanks for the video, it's really cool!

Enjoy watching your grade process on Final Cut. Question or two: I'm trying to decide between Premier, Final Cut, and DaVinci. I'm leaning toward Final Cut if I buy an Apple because I understand Final Cut works much better on Apple with basic rendering speed, handling larger files, basic editing, and overall simplified workflow vs the other two NLEs . But what is holding me back for now on the Apple nle and computer is the color grading tools built into Final Cut. I've heard rave reviews on Premier's Lumetri and DaVinci's color tools, with Final Cut lagging somewhat in that department. What is your opinion on color grading workflow and results with Final Cut Pro? In your video here with the bmpcc4k test footage, you seem to have done your grade very well. The free DaVinci Resolve full version with purchase of bmpcc4k is appealing no doubt. TIA.

Thanks for sharing. Did you have to edit in proxy mode with these files?

Yes I did my editing in proxy mode.
Why u use in some clips curves and in some clips exposure board to correct exposure ?

I typically like to use the curves because I like adding a faded look to my blacks which just isn't possible with the color board. So it's more of just preference more than anything. The curves give you more intricate control too cause you can create points on the line and effectively "bend" your luma however you like.
What was the bmpcc 4k settings you shot in
With the praying mantis, why do you warm up the shot and then basically "reverse" the warmness by bringing down the greens? Does it achieve a different effect than just not warming up the image?

I like to do it that way because not everything in the scene is green. If you look at the background you'll notice some grey/brown looking foliage. So, in other words, the temperature correction is still applied to everything else besides the greens.

Yeah that makes sense. Thanks for the reply! And cheers for the helpful video.
Bro orange and teal luts free download link bro
You will always see noise when you zoom in at 400% in a 4k image because it’s 8mp.
Final Cut is - not talking about itunes - the worst piece of software on this planet. Sry, I just wasted too much time with FC. FC is the reason I do not invest in Apple (stocks). Apple is going down and it started with FC.
