Look back to the religious wars. Catholics persecution of other religions such as Protestants which led to some of the deadliest wars, French wars of religion 1562-1598 claimed 2-4 million lives. Thirty Years war 1618-1648 which claimed 4-12 million lives. Germany lost 1/3 of its population, Europe as a whole lost 1/10. I am not against religion, but against people who abuse religion and use it to control people.

I left the church in 1976 because of discussions that ultimately has resulted in Project 2025. Frustrated with lack of results in prolesitizing leaders planned to take the levers of polotical power, local offices, the courts etc. Thd church has killed God to take his place.

I have been hearing about Project 2025 for a while. I had not previously heard about this.

He's not welcome in Australia. During 1986-7 the state of NSW in Australia asked for bids to build the first casino in Sydney. Four groups submitted bids for the lucrative project. Cabinet papers declassified 30 years later revealed that the Trump bid was rejected after NSW State Police reported that the Trump mafia connections and financial unviability made their bid undesirable. It also said his ties to organised crime was obvious.

I think you can find a video from a while back, right now, of Republican voters asking the people they elected in Texas to calm down & back off on some issues because they've already won & they're pushing things so far that it's putting lives in danger & they literally yelled at the person, called them a blasphemer & demanded they stop talking.

speaking of teen pregnancy: in 1974, when the right to abortion via roe was just gearing up, the pregnancy rate for females aged 15-19 years was 81.8 per thousand. in 2020, it was 15.4 births for every 1,000 females ages 15-19. that's a well over 500% decrease in teen pregnancies. yeah, and now we backwards, to the extreme right's 'good old days'.

In light of that moral maxim this god of Abraham-- worshiped by the Jews, Christians and Muslims-- is horrendously immoral. This god is said to be all-powerful, all-knowing, omnipresent. So, he literally watches children being abused and tortured-- even by his own priests, pastors, rabbis and imams-- and does absolutely nothing. In light of that why would one expect any better from those who worship such a god?
