Riddles played out of his mind in this tournament. Absolutely beautiful run and it’s crazy he was able to compete with top 3 players, he himself almost made it top 3 here. Riddles really leveled up

To be fair To Riddles and Everyone Else involved, they're Lucky I wasn't there.

:33 Terry actually doesn't get auto-turnaround on his super special moves, they go the direction you do the input in. Riddles has actually just been getting reads with those all tournament where he does a tilt in one direction and then supers the other way.

Thank you, this comment made me cringe a bit, turning an incredible read down to a "FcG tUrnArOunD lel". That and Riddles "dropping" punishes. With Go ! and your opponent at 80%+, it's actually not easy to decide on a punish out of downtilt or jab. They can SDI Power Dunk, CRT even slightly too spaced will drop opponent and get you dead instead, double dtilt into Buster Wolf can be SDI'd... I think he was looking for Dtilt > BW but the timing is stricter than an asian parent and jab confirms were too dangerous to really commit. Incredible set and tournament from my man Riddles. His Terry is an inspiration.

Actually, Terry's go moves absolutely have auto-turnaround. It may only be Buster Wolf though - but I can't tell you how many stocks I've taken because I inputted buster wolf the moment that someone air-dodged through me and it just...turned around

This tournament was amazing. Smash Ultimate has come a long way. What an effin blast seeing everyone bring their character to the max level. Riddles with the Terry, Tweek with the Diddy and the rest of the crew all doing incredible stuff. Kudos to everyone involved in this.

Riddles went without FGC characters for 1 tournament and placed like crap and immediately the next tournament later with FGCs he places Top 4.

Riddles said that the experience gained with roy helped him play terry and fgc characters better, and while this is just one tournament the results show.

Tweek ditty is just ridiculous! Those mixups are super hype and I’m here for it!

i really hope this major has finally hit home to riddles that the answer to sometimes losing tournaments is not to throw a dumb shitfit and switching mains constantly which gets you nowhere. all he needed was to just get better with his terry and kazuya, and now look where that has taken him; to top 4 among the likes of spargo, leo and tweek!

Lmao, a single representative in pro play, a character with super clear strengths and super clear weaknesses, a come back mechanic that can easily be entirely skipped depending matchups unlike Arsène, Rage Drive, or Sephiroth's wing... You might wanna tone down the copium a bit

@@blackstab3913 Kasuya's and more likely Sephiroth's is easier to skip, but Terry's don't. And yes limit can be charged but is weaker. Is an stupid design be able to confirm it after a single tilt (at least Kasuya has 3 attempts or less if get hit. And is my opinion, I'm as free as you to share it, if you like it or not is in you.

I think the go is balanced, I used to complain about it myself ngl but compared to kazuya in my opinion it’s pretty tame, I mean he has a command grab that does 40% of rip and it comes out pretty fast when he reaches 100% and the knock back on it is insane. I think all the power up moves in this game are balanced tho tbh, all the power ups have its advantages and disadvantages for sure
