Lem The Sith I got 2 movies with my name in them that came out this year(one being Star Wars which is awesome)and the 90s show Ren and Stimpy as well. As far as I'm concerned, I'm good. And to be fair Lem the Sith doesn't sound scary in the slightest. Plus anything sounds better than Count Dooku and Darth Sidious sounds like he's trying to hard.

I don't care what you guys think, showing Rogue One footage or concept or any type of big news at all before force awakens comes out is not a good idea. This isn't the same type of thing as the Marvel properties. They are doing a fine job.

ThatGuyJay3 Agreed. I think they have to separate how Marvel/DC pushes their movies from Star Wars. Since Ep VII and Rogue One are original stories and not an adaptation of a book/comic, advertising should be more drawn out. The reason Marvel drops nuggets for their movies while they're still filming is because the audience is going to compare it to some version of the comic series

AyVee John is a more down to earth fan (the prequels really crushed his soul xd), and that's great, I'm not saying that Mark and Kristian more positive takes is just fanboyism, it's great to have that balance between opinions.

Green Goliath Didn't seem obvious. We really don't know what he was thinking, so we can't say for sure, but obviously im giving him the benifet of the doubt, and its not just this video, i mean WHENEVER Harloff, in particular, is around. But like i said, Im proabably just reading too much into it.

I dont need any footage, they warned us not to expect it. So I'm not disappointed.

Chase Hildenbrand To counter that you can easily modify your feed list so they aren't dominating your page. it really isn't that hard to click on collider videos every day.

Idk if it's just me but it felt like it got a little heated for a quick second but great episode!

Sean38529 yea mark got kinda heated, but i agree with campea and kristian don't end off with star wars, just start off with it and finish strong with jungle book or captain america

I don't mind calling Rogue One, etc., "A Star Wars Story" because an "anthology" is a collection of stories (plural). The standalone movies are collectively "anthology" movies, but each one is "a story."

I agree. It also makes sense from a marketing standpoint, because now when casual moviegoers see that it says "A Star Wars Story" they'll probably know that it's a standalone movie, whereas the word "Anthology" makes it sound kind of like a big series that you'd have to be caught up on to understand the newest movie.

Last weeks episode was my first I loved it so much I subscribed right away I never do that this is an amazing program I look forward to listening to weekly, thank you guys!

Man, that is a great cast lined up. Combine the gritty war feel with Alexandre Desplat scoring and Edwards directing and I think we have a winner.

+t1gertank19 Also remember Edwards and Desplat did Godzilla together, and that combo fit really well, Edwards tone and Desplat channeling Akira Ifukube's original stuff. So i think he'll do great channelling Williams and mixing it with Edwards's gritty tone

Drey K. I feel like the Knights of Ren could've been a part of the Sith Order long ago, but split off to do their own thing. With that, and if this is true, maybe this could be the Lucasfilm Story Group going to the old non-canon E.U. and taking elements about the Lost Tribe of the Sith. I think that would be awesome!

Totally agree with John and Kristian about the panel at D23. And I really wanted to see Daisy Ridley as a Jedi. We haven't seen a main female character become a Jedi and I thought that would have been awesome. There is still all the possibility in the world she will be and I will keep my hopes up for that to happen.

how many times does one have to reload the youtube collider main page in order for the new jedi councel to appear?

I've been wondering what it would be like to have a live action film about Madalorians. The corruption, tribe wars, Death Watch, Satine, her secret relationship with Obi-Wan, and Satine's warrior sister Bo-Katan Kryze, and Sabine. Their could even be a movie about Twi'leks. Something about recovery following Innocents of Ryloth, getting Hera involved with the films.... I could also imagine profile projects about Jedi. The journey of Kit Fisto, Luminara, Shaak-Ti..... going against type, and shifting the focal point to Jedi not necessarily human.

The Knights of Ren look menacing and cult-like. I can't wait for the battle scenes!

Man getting to go to the Star Wars theme park is for sure on my bucket list. I'm up in Canada and haven't traveled anywhere haha....but that would be worth the trip for me!

I think John Boyega will be taught how to be a Jedi, but he'll be swayed to the new republic or resistance, Kylo Solo will be sways to the swift and Rey Solo will keep the balance of the force :)

Finn is Chewbacca's son. He doesn't follow the Jedi, he follows Chewie to Corellia for the Pan-Galactic Sabacc Championships, where he's imprisoned for pulling a droid's arm out of its socket when he loses.

I love watching this show, but these damn "Carmichael Show" commercials are killing me lol. Also, good Rush reference Mark! I dig it.

I had the honor of meeting George Lucas when they were filming here in Sydney, Australia. Told him that the first Star Wars made a huge impact on my youth. He was very humble and accommodating. The Staff of Daisy is double edged lightsaber in my opinion. There was one for the dark side (Darth Maul), maybe it will be the first for the light side.

Well if you look at both the picture you showed and the concept art of the Knights of ren, the guy with the silver helmet looks a lot like the knight all the way to the left!

What I have liked in the Star Wars universe is when the shades of grey are explored. Like in Star Wars The Clone Wars (I know many do not like it, but I think it's alright) I enjoy when they explore war and the shades of grey, and should the jedi be in it. I also enjoyed in the old books (which aren't canon now right? I don't know what's canon anymore at this point haha, please help with that though seriously haha). When dark jedi were explored, and how they view the universe and such. I hope they continue with that kind of thing with these new movies.

About the Drew Struzan comment: remember when Anthony Daniels tweeted basically the same thing around the time they finished shooting a while back? I don't really know what to make of it, but it's just pretty interesting to me that these are not the main stars or the producers who are relied upon to sell the movie who are talking like this.

And revealed himself, as Supreme Leader Snoke. Maybe Snoke his the character whos name is not as it seems.
