Yeah, the pipes burst at Hilldale during the polar vortex. My boyfriend was going to go to Apple to get his phone battery replaced, but they were closed because of the pipe burst. Yeah, when I went to UW-Milwaukee in 2013-2014, they only canceled class once because of the polar vortex. It’s a bit of a logistical headache to cancel class at a university with a student body of 30,000 and 92% of people living off campus.

I always look forward to when you post vlogs!

Kate Paras it looks like it is the flamingo color with the flamingo straw lid (which you have to buy separate)! That color is actually on sale rn on their website since it is getting discontinued! I only know this because I am looking to purchase the same one as her because I love it too

hi! i'm only in eighth grade but i hope to one day get accepted into uw-madison. do you have any words of advice on what high school classes to take, and also anything else i can do to up my chances of getting accepted?

well madison likes students that take risk so try AP classes. depending on your city in high school you can sign up for this thing called AP Capstone in your freshman year and you will do seminar & research, both classes will help you get used to writing college papers. also try to do some type of extra-curricular. something that has to do with dealing with the student body (like student council) looks great. another thing is they like those with high gpa’s and test scores for the act. a program that can help with that is called the PEOPLE program. i’m not 100% this is the right order they look at when you’re applying but i believe it is overall grades, extra-curricular, attendance, test scores. if you are a PEOPLE student they will provide you with that information

Kate Lidtke haha yes I have a roommate! I just never really show her because we have pretty different schedules and are usually only in the room together at night, & also I just feel so weird vlogging with people 🤣

@@ParisBoswell that's awesome! A simple switch would be to buy some reusable silverware, it'll save ya in the long run. A set of single silverware at Target is a total of $3. And it's totally possible to make microwave oatmeal in a bowl 😋
