I can't say that I was one of your biggest fans (as in I didn't watch every single one of your videos multiple times), but I did enjoy your content and sharing what it was like on campus and your day to day life. I'm older and most people don't assume I'm a student, but I recently just transferred to UW-Madison and it is enjoyable seeing all the places in your video and recognizing them from first hand experience, now that I'm at UW. I remember seeing some of your freshman year videos long before I even thought about actually going to UW and it helped make it seem more realistic to me. I think University can sometimes have this aura of "higher education" when really it is still just teachers, classrooms, and buildings. It is also crazy that you've already graduated considering your freshman videos didn't really seem like they were that long ago. Thank you for all the content!

Almost 24 year ago that I did failed by 2 points. I did take it for the 2nd time that I passed. I did passed the test for the permit. I did drive in my own little town so that I don’t do any highway driving or even stop at light singles. In my town it is mostly stop signs. I do lived in Wisconsin. Even the gal from DMV was very sweet and friendly towards me. She took me twice on them.

Paris - your channel came into my KZread feed and it brings back fond memories.... I graduated from UW-M with an engineering degree even before you were born! You are probably graduated by now....congrats!! A few comments / thoughts on the UW-M and what future students should / should not do with their time there: • This is a very unique and special time in your life and you will only go through it once - so don't blow it! • Enjoy the full experience, make friends, have fun, attend parties but don't make partying your #1 priority!!! • You are there to get an education, so get one that actually matters!!! • If you don't get a degree that is in high demand, you will struggle once you graduate and you don't want to find out when you are 30 that your chosen career is a dead end!!! • Remember, the time you spend at the UW can make you hundreds of thousands if not millions of dollars or cost you the same - your choice! What do you want to get out of it??!!! • If there is one thing that can make a significant difference ina person's future / quality of life for the remainder of their adult life, it is the time you spend at the university! So don't blow it!!! • UW-M while large geographically, is one of the most beautiful campuses of any major university! • As for dorms, stay at the lakeshore dorms if at all possible. The south east dorms sound like party central and were called the Zoo when I was at UW-M... sounds like things have only gotten worse with the smell of weed being common place! Good luck to all future and current students - it will be one hell of a ride!!!!

It appears that your KZread channel has been discontinued by you. Very sad, because you were very sharing during your Madtown experiences. I am a Madtown graduate, BSME 1978. Your experiences were very different than mine! Mostly because of a time difference and a study degree that was very different. I loved in the old Ogg residence hall with the twin towers on west Dayton St.. My room was 307, west tower. I had a great view of of Camp Randall post football exit activit

Sorry for the message interruption. I hope your post graduation experience is great and fulfills your expectations. The corporate working world is very different than the UW-Madison experience. There are way more “company political” situations! I refused to be involved in corporate “political” maneuvering . I don’t regret that choice after a 37.5 year working career. Enjoy your post Madtown experience and trust your heart (gut) feelings in your post Madtown work experience.

Just to help out anyone in 2023 I only applied to 2 schools and I got into uw Madison with a 25 on the ACT and a 3.8 unweighted gpa and a 4.2 weighted

hello international student here....I read a lot that uw-madison is the best social life wise but I am also a bit worried about the high competition to get accepted plus tution and housing costs as well. can anyone help please. with regards

You are going to the UW-M to get an education so you can have a chance at earning a living!!! Partying is not a subject nor obje tive of attending! Yes, competition in getting in is fierce but so is the job marketplace!

Congrats on grad school, I hope you don't mind my asking here. I am a senior in HS. looking at different schools. Watched your "everything you need to know about UW-Madison vids" and you often mention partying and drinking being everywhere. I go to a charter school in North Idaho where a: we get cold and snow; b: it is in the mountains; c: there are between 25 and 100 people to a grade; and d: everyone behaves "appropriately." My question is, how is there so much drinking all the time and you are a freshman, is that not illegal? Again, HS senior looking at where I want to do undergrad and UW-Madison is one place I am considering.

I liked your blogs because you seemed so real and had problems that people could relate too and not feel like they were alone in that. To whoever is reading this : May God bless you ! You’re gunna do great in life ! Put God first and everything will fall into place ! John 3:16 says , “For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life ! Believing in Christ isn’t only enough! Even the demons believe! However, Matthew 6:33 talks about us seeking Him and spending time with Him in the secret place ( where He lives- Matthew 6:6). If we seek Him, we will find Him! If we love Him, we will obey His commandments ! God’s grace is so sufficient! Wishing nothing but love , joy , peace, prosperity, faith, hope, etc. Have a blessed day ! God loves you so much :) 💕❤️🫶🏼
