If i was the governor of a state or even the president i would issue the national guard to protect the people from the police and let them protest in peace. If there is violence or vandalism then appropriate action should be taken responsibly without discrimination. I side with humanity and life. I don't believe in religion or politics because it was designed to control people to build economies to generate tax and money. Actually, it's pro justice. Palestinians deserve equal rights in the land they were displaced and excluded from. Not "separate but equal" but actual equally. Not you don't belong here because we colonized your land, and your existence doesn't fit our agenda. No more Palestinian concentration camps. No more bulldozing Palestinian homes and farms. No more separate Palestinian IDs (remember the yellow stars?). No more denying Palestinians access to any part of Israel, including roads, settlements, services, and voting. Palestinians must have the same rights as all other citizens in Israel, just as all colonized people everywhere else must have equal rights it the land they were displaced and excluded from. The idea of creating a Jewish settler state in the Middle East was at least as stupid as the movement to send blacks back to Africa, but here we are. What happened to the Jewish people of Europe was absolutely horrific. However, those people had not lived in the Middle East for a couple thousand years. There is no justification for what Israel has and is doing to the people they pretend never existed (a land without a people).

This is the peaceful adult conversation that needs to be had with the students (and their benefactors in some instances) - there is a choice to not enroll in such colleges and a choice for the colleges to clean their investments of controversial financial associations. It's also an opportunity for schools to attract students who agree with their financial values. I think a lot of student transfers and changes in collegiate funding/investments should happen because of this.

So they’re OCCUPYING? How ironic….

Our university, colleges and schools leadership should recognize freedom of expression, freedom from oppressive systems, and freedom to challenge authority are exactly what we teach our students are the basic tenets of our representative democracy. Use of excessive force in form of private security forces, campus police, state troops, etc., against students is not a good look for our state and country!

When God makes a decision to destroy someone or some nation, He creates a cause or causes in most cases like some people were destroyed by earthquake, some by flood, some by disease, and some by war. All these destructions come because of the sins of the people. Oppression is a grave sin. God is on the side of the oppressed even if the oppressed is a disbeliever and God is against the oppressor even if the oppressor is a believer. What you are witnessing is God’s plan in action and people are wondering who is organizing these worldwide protests against Israel. The simple answer is God because Israel is the oppressor and cannot escape God’s punishment. Israelis think they are invincible because America is in their pocket. They don’t understand that God’s power is greater than all the powers. Unless they repent and stop the oppression they will end up destroying themselves. Can someone please help me understand something? I completely understand and empathize with the desire to end the genocide that is currently happening in Gaza. What's happening there is horrific, and utterly heartbreaking. What I don't understand is why the protests are happening at college campuses, in particular. Why there, specifically? What are protest at college campuses going to achieve, exactly? The colleges have no control over the government officials, nor foreign affairs, to my knowledge. So why are these protests taking place at these types of locations? I'm a bit baffled.

For what? Their right to protest? Their anger that 14,000 Palestinian children have died over 7 months for a 1 night attack by terrorists that killed 1,200 Israelis? !4,000 CHILDREN dead vs 1,200 Israelis, mostly adults, and Israel is the victim in your eyes? These kids are doing what they feel is right, and is their right to protest. It is a shame that you don't believe they have that right. Those are American kids too protesting, and it includes Jewish kids who are against their governments continued war.

Who can remain indifferent to the genocide in Gaza? Given the information of the crimes in Gaza is at hand, the protests are not going to stop because this situation is unacceptable, despite the efforts to punish protesters who denounce the Gaza genocide and to repress freedom of speech to suppress the truth.

HAMAS uses improvised explosive devices, short- and long-range rockets and mortars, small arms, kidnapping operations, rocket-propelled grenades, man-portable air defense systems, antitank missiles, and unmanned aircraft systems in attacks against Israeli military forces and civilians, .......Unfortunately, hamas uses civilian clothes or dress as Healthcare workers, journalists...that is well known. They also hide in tunnels under civilian structures to shoot rockets. I am very interested in your answer.
