Thank you so much! For privacy reasons I won’t say exactly, but I live in the dorms in North Village on Baylor’s campus. They are all alike. Hope this helps! Let me know if you have any other questions! ☺️

Different dorms have different styles of rooms. The dorm I am in has suite style rooms, but not all of them have kitchens. In the “choose your room” time slot you can select your preference. Hope this helps! Thank you so much! ☺️

Aww thank you so much! That’s incredibly sweet of you to say 😊 1. Honestly I chose Baylor because of my secondary major in violin performance. The violin Professor here is just amazing! But I also realized that Baylor just had everything I was looking for in a college-Christian environment, great academics, and in TX 🤪 2. For transportation I see buses a lot if you live off campus and many people bike! 3. I think for dislikes about Baylor it might be something about the parking if you own a car. You have to get permits and there are only so many available. So if you don’t get one, you can’t park on campus and are kinda out of luck. Hope this helps, and best of luck to you in your college application process! 💕

Hi, I’m only a sophomore (about to be a junior) in high school but I was trying to look into colleges. Currently, Baylor is my first choice but I want to make sure the school can lead me into the right area when it comes to my future career choice. I plan on becoming a pediatrician, but I’m not sure where to start. Do you have any advice or tips? Also, I want to continue my passion on the flute, but I’m worried about the time management. How do you balance your life between your instrument and nutritional sciences?

That is so exciting! I will say Baylor does have an AMAZING pre-med program. If Baylor is one of your top choices, definitely apply there once you are able! I’m so glad you want to continue your passion for music! I actually ended up switching my major! I still have my secondary major in violin performance, but my primary major is now Communications! It is much more manageable having this major with music as it just fits a lot better. And now I will graduate on time 😂😂😂 If you want to play flute on the side it might not be that difficult but adding it as part of your major with all the pre-med stuff would be a challenge but ofc not impossible… Please let me know if you have any other questions! Oh congrats on applying! How exciting ☺️ For me I really only applied to like 4 schools in total, Baylor being one of them. I probably won’t share super detailed stats since this is on the internet 😂 but I will say that I took the ACT and only the ACT. I also only did one AP class in hs which was AP bio. I’ve been told that Baylor does a “holistic review” of your transcript to see the difficulty of the curricula your school used. Apparently AP and honors are seen as very similar so I wouldn’t waste your time and energy on AP especially for a subject that you definitely aren’t going into… If you studied in hs, it really isn’t as difficult to get into Baylor as many people think it is. It is harder to get scholarships that pay for a significant portion of the tuition but acceptance isn’t really something to worry about if you studied hard. I know Baylor has been accepting more people especially since many people took a gap year after the pandemic. Hope this helps! Please lmk if you have any more questions! 😊

Baylor is in Waco, Texas! My major currently is Nutrition Science, and I’m secondary majoring in Violin Performance. Classes for this semester were chemistry, Christian scriptures, Musicianship I, Music Theory I, Chapel, Symphony Orchestra, Violin lessons, and a New Student Seminar ☺️ Let me know if you have any more questions! Aw that’s great to hear! I don’t sadly… but if you do attend Baylor there is a roommate matching process, so even if you don’t know anyone coming in, hopefully the roommate matching will room two people who are more compatible. Hope this helps! Thank you for being here ☺️
