To all my fellow norwegians complaining about kaviar and leverpostei isnt a snack. A snack does not mean candy, it means a small meal or portion (mellom måltid). We have just adopted the word "snack" into our vocabulary and use it purely for candy which is wrong. They are using the term snack correctly in this video for kaviar, leverpostei etc.

Je vet
1. Not a snack. 2. Not a snack. 3. Snack 4. Not even Norwegian or a snack. 5. Snack. This is more lunch/breakfast food, some of my friends put the chocolate squares between 2 pieces of toast and eat that for breakfast. But at least you had one thing that's 110% snack.

Yoo, the liver pate and kaviar is not considered «snacks», it is more part of breakfast. And the renost is not something usual!

Only the chocolate things are considered snacks in Norway. Rest of it we use on bread for breakfeast or lunch. If my mom, back when I was a kid, would call ob me and said "there are snacks on the table" and she had put out bread with kaviar or liver pate, there would be hell to pay... It's good stuff but not a snack...

Those aren’t exactly snacks. They’re foods we eat for lunch or breakfast. Except for the chocolates obviously
As a norwegian, most of these wouldnt I say are ''snacks'' except the chololate ones.. obviously. its more breakfast food to be fair XD like if you agree
