Is hillside good for the social aspects of college, I’m a little worried about having been placed there Bc I want to have a fun and active junior year and not be isolated or bored on weekends

Yes and no, the RA’s do have events every week in the commons area but in my experience not a lot of people go to them and if they do it’s usually the same people so you don’t really meet new people too much. But there is always something going on in the student Union and the shuttle comes to hillside and takes you down there. You’ll never be bored! Hope this helps! 😃

@@KathianaBell23 thanks, I appreciate it. My main concern is I’m a transfer student who hasn’t lived away at college and I defintely wanna get the college experience to an extent for these last two years. I’m really hoping hillside wasn’t the wrong choice for that haha

Lol I know what you mean hillside has it’s perks tho but if you really want the college experience I would say definitely join a club if you can, by doing so your guaranteed all types of events and always meeting new people!

Yea kinda it just means you have to look harder to get that socialization piece because with all the living communities I think it’s the most lacking

It’s pretty safe most living communities you can’t get into if you don’t live there. Also after 9pm if your still on campus and don’t feel safe to walk to your dorm you can call safe ride and they will take

Where do you do the laundry?

Each build has their own washroom. If you are living in a building that sleeps 4 people then the laundry is located just steps from your apartment outside. If your building sleeps 6 then the laundry is located in the basement.
