Loving the new Morbid Saint album Swallowed By Hell. Killer Thrash. Classic Ed Repka artwork. Got the album on cd and dig the slipcase it came in. Musically, the album is packed with unrelenting track after unrelenting track. I love it! Great stuff!

Great update James! I love the new Saxon album, sadly I still haven't picked that one up. Definitely will. I guess I agree with you on the clichés/lyrics, same goes for the recent Accept records. Judas Priest's new record is just fantastic. I'm amazed that after so many years they're still kicking and writing brilliant songs. 🤘

Both Saxon and Accept are definitely guilty of outdated Clichés but as long as the music is good, that's what matters the most. New Priest album is a belter, just amazing stuff. Cheers as always Kenan my friend

Good to hear your thoughts on some new releases James. Yeah the Mandrake Project is the most interesting listen out of those three. I can't say Priest and Saxon's new albums are better than the previous albums they release but they're probably on par. My space was great for discovering bands back in the day. So far so good for new releases. Enjoy the new music.

Awesome update James! Lots of cool new albums! Great to see Saxon, Bruce, Morbid Saint, Exhorder, Skeletal Remains, Job For A Cowboy and Morta Skuld. All these I haven't listened to yet but I'm interested to check them out. I have the first 2 Job For A Cowboy and they're great, wanted to get the other 2 for while but it's great they have a new one out now! Just picked up the previous Skeletal Remains album and will be picking up this new one too at some point. Didn't know Morta Skuld had a new one out, I've never listened to them before. Nice one man 😊🤘🏻🤘🏻

That Saxon is definitely not a bad one. I think they are still very passionate about putting out new music and ive had a bit of enjoyment out of it prior to Priest and Bruce coming out. Those two have taken over now. I felt like the Morbid Saint album was just ANOTHER thrash album. Having hundreds already something has to be a bit special now to interest me.

Yeah the Morbid Saint album is doing nothing that hasn't been done before but I still like it. Despite the Clichés the new Saxon is very good but the Priest album is outstanding. Bruce has the most interesting album of the 3, really enjoying it. Cheers mate 👍

Morta Skuld is a good gateway band if you're looking to try out some Death Metal mate. Saxon, Priest and Bruce's album are all worthy additions to your collection Cristian. Cheers mate 👍

Alright Mr B , Yes the Priest one is a total beast. Saxon are way past their best for me and I cannot get into the Bruce one. I have noticed that Belinda Carlisle has a box set coming , so you will be chuffed with that Matey. Stay well and keep rockin. Ps Death Metal is not really my thing but I have got into Opeth recently. Strange times indeed.

The latest saxon album is very good, although the last 7 or 8 saxon albums have been very good, when you think how many years they have been going and still putting out quality albums, and i think the latest priest album might be their best since painkiller.

I absolutely loved the new Saxon and Priest albums. Although I really don't like Invincible Shield's cover art, but it's about the music of course. Saw them 3 days ago with Uriah Heep, amazing show. I'm not too keen on The Mandrake Project, but from what I've heard it's okay. Swallowed by Hell is great, always considered Morbid Saint to be extremely underrated. Exhorder always has been one of my least favorite thrash bands, but I decided to check out Defectum Omnium and it's better than the previous album, but still nothing spectacular. Don't know anything about the other three albums.

I have to say that I think Bruce should of left his solo career where it was before he re-joined Iron maiden. I've heard a few songs from this new album and it sounds not that much different from what he is doing with Maiden. But pleased to see Priest and Saxon almost back to there best with both of there new album. Only one album at the moment that I'm looking forward to hearing this year is going to be the solo album from Kerry king.

Hell Fire and Damnation is absolutely brilliant! In my opinion better than Carpe Diem. While talking about Saxon, what's your favorite Saxon album from the 2000s? I'll go with 2001's Killing Ground 🎸

I have Bruce vinyl on its way, still need to get Morbid Saint, and Exhorder is MEH - didn't rate the last one much either, ill just stick with he first 2 lol - Skeletal Remains is great as always - Morta Skull rule, its in my basket and will get next month along with a shit load of other stuff

I'm just waiting for Necrophobic's recent ish one In the Twilight Grey, melodic black metal. Also Ultimate Abomination by Bodyfarm, death metal that came out about a year ago. And Screams of Anguish by Brutality, again death metal from 1993. Not a big fan of Judas Priest, Saxon or Bruce's new album. I'll give Exhorder a listen though.

I haven’t heard anything from that new Saxon, will take some time to check it out soon. New priest is good, only listened in full once, and the Bruce record was ok. Nothing really stuck out and Bruce sounded good considering. Morbid Saint was meh, another thrash record and nothing really memorable. Cheers Mr B
