I have CBS FOX VHSes of Red Sonja, Quest for Fire, Rollerball, Aliens, and Fantastic Voyage. Fantastic Voyage is one of those "full cover" ones from 1990. I also have a CBS FOX Betamax tape of The Clan of the Cave Bear. None of my tapes are sealed though.

Thanks brother. That's awesome, laserdiscs are very cool too, as well as RCA's DiscoVision discs. I like the sleeve design on the CBS FOX laserdiscs!

wow, there is so many variants of star wars on vhs and given that there are so many Earlier cuts of the original trilogy and Earlier cuts of the special edition i think people should be well aware of these Earlier versions

I have a question about the video rental tapes. Did they always come with the different colored top cover protecting the ribbon? Or were there copies that had all black tapes?

I have two 1990 sets of cbs fox star wars trilogies (single movies, not box sets) one set with cbs/fox water marks, and the other with fox entertainment water marks. Even though they both say they should have cbs/fox water marks.

Also, as I mentioned, I’m just starting here, but perhaps wouldn’t it be somewhat somewhat easy for people who are familiar with shrink wrap and printing, and so on to just fake watermarks and barcoding or serial numbers and other identification on shrink wrap, and just wrap them up somewhat appropriately or as an original state. Has that been coming out in affect as counterfeit a lot and so on

Really love your videos and shifting gears from Comics towards VHS and video cassettes and so on. Just learning about the system and market in general and wanted to inquire what your preferred grading company is as I believe there are maybe a couple out there as I’m just learning, but what about value for unsealed VHS or you know like a raw comic book lol I find so many VHS tapes out there but obviously they are opened and have no factory seal

No. The most collectible is donna michelle, followed by camp video, then dead alive productions.

Agreed those mentioned are highly collectible VHS (I have near complete sets of those too), but have we ever really seen a factory sealed 'Video Violence' or 'Attack of the Killer Refrigerator'?

After watching I subscribed instantly. Gonna check out your other vids. I love your passion for collecting! I too am the same way with comic books. Been collecting since early 90's. The past few yrs got back into it bigtime(plandmic I guess)! I have approx 95 short boxes packed and also a CGC Graded collection. Also collect action figures and cards. Slowly getting into VHS's. Love your way of teaching. I learned a lot from this video even though I've got hundreds of tapes I want to learn all I can about them and their history. That's why I enjoyed this video so much.

Sadly the economy is going into a deep recession and VERY few ppl will be able to afford to buy some as trivial as a sealed VHS tape.

Do you have spread sheet with movies at their valuation and last known sales, etc ? Because that would be DOPE

I don't care for sealed VHS I have bought sealed videocassettes and opened them to watch. Movies were meant to be seen and enjoyed not to be stored away or put on a shelf so it looks good. That's not a collector that's a hoarder and/or a reseller. Enjoy your VHS movies guys!👉😀👈
