Congratulations Sam definitely up for seeing some more emira stuff very interested in this car one of the best lotus have done I think.

I'd forgotten about the Goodwood deposit! Love Lotus and not just cause they're local. Seen a Porsche bomb about the bypass next to where I walk the dogs recently in a similar shade of blue and looking mighty fine. Nice to see a factory tour & laps of the test track - it looked like your drone skills were struggling to keep up with it's acceleration at times! Glad you managed to nip down the A11 and squeeze in a quick trip to Phoenix Cycleworks before closing, as in the few videos Sam Pilgrim's done down there it's come on in leaps & bounds in recent months. Handy link to it in your 'mentioned places' section of your description and from the satellite map that opens up, it's clear they've got a lot more space to play with on both sides of the A14. Looking forward to your return there for a fuller session...

How did you end up transporting the bike’s front wheel?

Clicked on for the Lotus content, as I've really no idea who Sam Reynolds is and my cycling consists of a gentle trip to the shops if the weather is good. However the video footage of what you were doing on the cycle track was amazing.

As soon as it’s run in we will do some track days for sure!

This was one of the most important cars at Goodwood. There were special ones, but Lotus built an achievable car. It's like a Corvette but Lotus made it.

I considered a corvette, but to me the Lotus is far nicer looking and available with a manual, and priced competitively. Also, I’ve owned a Z06 Corvette and was not impressed with build quality. Also I’ve always wanted a Lotus…but found the Elise’s to cramped for my build.

And once again Lotus creates a gorgeous super car for a third of the price of the big boys. Did you opt for the V4 or the V6? I'd definitely do the 6 myself. Verdant Green too--best green I've seen on a car in a long time.

Congratulations on the new car! I’ve got one on order in the US and I use a Komodo sea sucker, you think the rear glass alone is strong enough to hold the Komodo and a bike?

Hmm possibly, I have been thinking about it, because the roof is actually too flexy to have the bike on the roof really, so front windscreen could be best for the sea sucker. I’ll try a few options!

I saw the same colour Lotus, same wheels, today on my way to Swinley forest.. you weren't driving near Bracknell today were you Sam? If so looked even nicer in real life!!

how is the SeaSucker working for ya? im wondering if i can bring my mountain bike around in my Emira as well. also there sure is a lotta room behind the seats maybe if I take both tires off and have no passenger hmm

I’ve found the sea sucker works well but better if you stick it on the windscreen rather than the roof! The roof is a bit flexy and windscreen is solid
