your race start needs to be set at least a thousand RPM over the OEM 4k rpm, since you are on boost from 4700rpm on, else you just launch undertorque and it's just bad (you see it almost stalls), anyways you better also limit your torque from what you got now to 550NM (400ish ftlb) unless you did something to the gearbox, else you are going to blow it, engine is good internals are forged, gearbox is the problem (A45 owner here)

That is what came to my mind also. Looks pretty similar to my previous 1jz vvt-i dyno run where the ignition always started to break up after 5k rpm's up to 6.5k, and it then cleaned up suddenly. Messed up camshaft trigger signal when running sequential ignition can cause all sort of havoc under boost. I changed coils, spark plugs, gaps and finally new engine wire harness fixed it.

Very nice!! What turbo? Here in Canada Eurocharged Canada managed to get 505 awhp - 535 awtq on a dynojet with my GLA45 AMG. Having some issue with turbo so we are working on some other stuff.

ok try to launch it and the stability control will say hell no and you will and up burning your tires also did you change the brakes to handle the extra speed ????

Used to have one of these, identical spec outside even the red center caps but with the upgraded interior. Only stage one DMS tune. Seems to me first and second gear are still limited. I bet a third gear pull is insane! I swapped out to a new E63s 4matic+. Sick car but I do miss the 45

so you loose just over 50 bhp would a lighter and smoother drive train help boost power without changing anything else or does the car have to know the drive train is better with ecu work

First A45 with that turbo? Was there no testing done with the turbo by the manufacturers on their own product?

Very good car & build. I am just asking myself about the reliability, for example using it on the track... I think that it is fun for street, but it will break on track or for hard use. Useless, but really good build & beautiful car!

What's it like for pulling off from standstill "no launch"? Does it still lag when you plant the throttle or is it better now it's been mapped? I have a tuning box and pedalbox in my A45 but still has the awful lag from standstill unless launched even then the wheelspin is pretty evil! Love the sound of your turbo man! Would love to get a turbo upgrade on mine however I don't have a spare £3000-£4000(probably more) for the upgrade. If you're down south anytime would love to see the beast?! Look forward to seeing more content on this!

Dan Key thanks bro, the map still needs work as it’s very laggy, from standstill it’s not the best but once on boost it’s off! Anyway it’s a work in progress at the moment not the finished product 👍🏽

were there some problems with the engine or trans? how many hp can it load? were't there any probmems with trans wwhen there's 100k kilometers?

Rafi Kouyoumjian .. was running stock fuel pump and using meth to compensate, no misfires at 551bhp however the map was struggling on higher power runs.. golf Rs have better tuning potential 👍🏽

I find the RS3 to be terribly boring looking, never getting one myself. Heard from my dealer that they expect the A45 somewhere around march/april. But I pretty much made a decision, getting a used nicely priced C63 sedan Edition 1 instead, at least for the time being

I have a GLA 45. 395 wheel horsepower with 100 octane tune on a mustang Dyno... Hybrid turbo with a tune and supporting mods. I believe my number is much more realistic than what he is showing in this video... How about 20% drivetrain lost with all-wheel drive is a little more realistic. Let's be real here. I'm sick of KZread inflated numbers but this is still a great video!
