The fact that Chris Cooper always discusses the problems with his sons is one of the most endearing things of the whole podcast. He’s clearly a great family man.
Neil's description of the last drive to St Moritz, almost shed a bloody tear

Don't worry, the last tank of gasoline is inconsequential. You just fill up your next tankful with bioethanol, biomethane, HVO biodiesel, natural gas or e-fuel. And continue on towards Flüela pass. 😎

The alps are just magical. I still remember vividly the first time I saw them from our minibus on a 6th form climbing trip. They only get more magical when you're going on a driving/riding trip. Then there's the skiiing...

Neil could tell bedtime stories for gentlemen of a certain age. Lovely.
Edward Lovett’s complete lack of hesitation in choosing Knight Rider for TV theme song has brought him instant hero status 😗👌
Wow! What a surprise at the end!!! Can we get Lucca to join the group every week please?

Holy crap, just when you thought there was enough special people on this podcast, they have a cameo by luca di montezemolo!
This podcast just gets better and better. Epic!
Mr Montezemolo is the spiritual successor to Enzo Ferrari, no doubt.
Neil I absolutely love your contributions, I can fully understand why your a successful chap. I can imagine your a fabulous leader to work for! Simply the single most enjoyable podcast full-stop. 👍🏻

I always forget hes a Ceo, hes so down to earth like he could be a brick layer or something.
FANTASTIC MANISH!!!!! What an incredibly special guest!!!!!!!!! WOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!!!!!!
Gentlemen, simply sensational! Thank you. This continues to be a brilliant highlight of the week 😂😂😂
Have to say Chris, I’m starting to enjoy this series more than the new format Top Gear, getting back to basics, no gimmicks - 5 personalities chatting about cars - great stuff
Spat out my tea when Chris Cooper mentioned hanging a 962 upside-down on the roof. Chapeau!
Wonderful episode. Laying in the sun picturing the last tank of fuel stories - you really brought these to life.
Airwolf.... I had to edit wow the ending amazing😮
Brilliant! Montezemolo is the man!
Most epic podcast. I was clapping my hands on the cottage chair when Mr. Montezemolo appeared.
❤A man cave needs friends. That’s a beautiful thing right there. ❤
Ahh absolutely fantastic to see Luca Di Montezemolo on the podcast. Just made it so very special...
The difference between a wing and a spoiler should be the next topic of discussion. To say that the proposed examples were controversial would be an understatement
Wow that was Mega, especially with the 'Cameo Guest' Funny as always. Keep them coming. 👍👍
That's just the greatest cameo. The answer who would you most like to have dinner with, for me, has always been Luca.
please please please do one all in person, I love this podcast format and I think without wifi lag all 5 of you will be able to bounce off one another better because those are the bits I love as a viewer! please make more I love them!

wouldn’t be surprised if the Christmas dinner is the only time their calendars overlap
WOW! What a joy! Thanks guys!!!
I really love the quiet "Wonderful" from Mr Cooper.
Wow THE man himself, Mr Montezemolo on the Collecting Cars Podcast. You lads are Royalty now 😜
Neil Clifford had me in tears 😂 talking about his trials bike!!!
I’ve said before and I’ll say it again, the is the greatest podcast.
First time watching it rather than just listening whilst driving... It made car more sense with the photos!!! Great entertainment and mix of personalities.
Grazie Mr Di Montezemolo. My Ferrari Grail is now completely changed 😎. Great show as ever.
Bloody amazing contributionsfrom the team and then Luca Montezomolo!! WOW. Top this one next week.
Last tank: midsize diesel truck, my wife and daughter with me, and off road around the Grand Canyon camping and exploring. Theme song: Airwolf. Nothing beats it.
Wow - just wow!
Just went through all of the new Thunderbirds episodes with my three kids ages 7,9, and 11. They love it and do the theme song together. Fantastic.
Please don’t ever stop making these.
And because of Manish, I've had to look up the Honda video of the Senna ghost lap from Suzuka. What an amazing time in F1.
As a 21 year old enthusiast who considers the 458 Italia a classic car from my childhood. It’s always a pleasure to hear you gentlemen talk about ancient car culture.

Its so funny hearing that a 458 is a classic 😂 I spose its getting there. I remember seeing the 360 concept in magazines.
*That was great viewing/listening, top stuff*
Neil clifford is becoming my hero!!!!!!!!
What a great podcast guys, you outdone yourself on this one and great to see Luca Montezemolo pop in for a chat. Keep up the good work and all the best.
Can we please have a tour of Neil’s man cave. Looks incredible 😍
Night Rider and Air Hawk were the soundtrack to my youth with Baywatch and Miami Vice sprinkled on top.
Wow…you actually had one of my all time heroes there with you! This podcast is an absolute joy. Please keep it going 🙏
Thunderbirds are go. I was describing the podcast to my wife, especially the motorbike in the man cave, and she grinned as I have 4 but to see Luca Montezemolo made this the perfect episode. I can't wait for the next one.
Another wonderful chat. Just watched the very first episode of Thunderbirds. Took me straight back to my childhood! Thanks lads!!
Some of the finest examples of man maths I have seen in a while. Excellent work fellas.
Very quickly becoming my new favourite podcast 👍
The best and most outrageous spoiler was Monster Tajima's Suzuki Escudo 'Pikes Peak' race car....Legendary stuff!
A cool idea for a podcast topic: Car with the best view out of the side mirror!
Going on from last week about keys (and lights so you can put them into door locks) - favourite door handle designs!
I've been following since the start and look forward to this every Friday. What an amazing ending! Keep up the good work and please keep doing this.
Top men, top men...thanks!
Knight Rider all the way. That legendary Stu Phillips bass riff.
Fantastic, I am really enjoying these addict eps the groups dynamic play so well off each other. but can we have the occasional Chris and guest interview aswell I miss those. Then it keeps things fresh as a back and forth.
Every episode is like a box of chocolates....you guys are epic.. Makes a Long drive home a laugh , thanks.. 😎
I know it’s terrible but it’s iconic, my favourite spoiler is the Subaru Impreza WRX STi (blobeye in blue)
I absolutely never want this podcast to end, it is sublime in every way. The best theme music, however, is Pink Panther and I’m shocked no body chose it.
Brilliant yet again 👍
By far my favourite KZread channel :). Keep it up guys - fantastic, natural chemistry and just fun to watch
Everything about this just makes me so happy. This has got to be peak podcast long may it continue!
brilliant! another awesome episode
A brilliant Podcast
The best thing on telly.
Wikipedia (always correct!) suggests that the 505 was introduced in May 1979
Coming from a multi generation car family.... (grandparents rocking a Lambo 350gt daily in the 70's ) love to hear your pods, keep this up please!
What a great end to my week, thanks gents.
You make Fridays better keep it up guys
I used to sell Renault for a distributor in 1970-72. I was astonished when a customer wanted to part ex. A Peugeot that had covered over 250,000 miles. It was a faded grey, never been polished and ran beautifully. Finally he didn’t trade it in. At the last moment he couldn’t part with it.
You guys make my week, thank you.
My song choice would be the original series theme for Auf Wiedersehen pet. The journey across to Germany with that soundtrack is amazing.
Best 80s TV theme songs: Knight Rider Miami Vice Airwolf A-Team Fall Guy
Always interesting and fun. I love the banter and look forward to this podcast every week. Thank you all.
Oh Lord! Best podcast.... ever!
I did a fist-pump when Chris Harris mentioned the Thema 8:32 spoiler! Truly epic...
One episode per week isn't enough! This kept my ears occupied while I was detailing my ST150 on a Sunday. Amazing show guys. Can't wait until the next one.
Wow!! Luca 🤘🏼
The best podcast available.......hands down.
Loved it and always makes my Friday. 😃
Absolutely Fantastic...
One of my favourite bits of driving music is a theme tune - the closing theme to old, old, old Top Gear. Elton John's "Out of the Blue", 6 minutes of pure prog rock instrumental.
Great podcast Gents, just love it! Look forward to it every week. Always a pleasure to listen to five knowledgeable car enthusiasts obviously enjoying themselves. Thankyou. If I may just correct Chris’s comment on the TR7, it was actually Giugiaro who made the comments about the design, not Bertone.
Street Hawk!! Yes. Jesse Mach, brilliant. A vote for Howard’s Way too mind. Where else can I get this kind of brilliance. Love this show.
F40 has a rear wing, not a spoiler. The spoiler "deals" with air flow in just one surface. And, yes, the "lip" in that BMW is a spoiler.
This podcast is simply the very best! 👌 Please keep this going Gentlemen 🙏 Eagerly awaiting next week’s episode. The banter, humour and knowledge is without doubt, the essence of entertainment 👌 Cheers guys 🙏
Great listen as always. Excellent choice of Montesa Cota
God, I love this podcast. So freaking good!!!
Brilliant!!!
Fantastic podcast as ever definitely the best motoring podcast out there and also yous chat about everyday crap like we all do love the banter craic etc keep up the fantastic work
I listen to the podcast every week. But you have missed the two best driving singes ever: kickstart my heart by Motley Crüe and Sabotage by the beastie boys. Despite this oversight, I will steadfastly remain a listener.
Who needs the Thunderbirds music when you can luxuriate in the smooth jazzy stylings of Left Bank Two by The Noveltones (the gallery music from Vision On)?
Wonderful car show. Greetings from Colombia
This group has really worn on me over the past 18 weeks. Feel like i could sit down, talk peteol and have a beer with any of them. Excellent topics on this one and the special guest was next level. As a F355 user I was hoping Luca would say he wanted his old company car Gaillo Fly F355 Spider with a 6 speed gated box.
Simply brilliant - keep em coming 🏁 I embarrassingly shouted out loud “yes” at Knight Rider… same with street hawk … ohh bikes! Great entertainment these chats.
Two car garage - fantastic. I’d go for a 1972 Toyota Crown Estate (dad had the saloon for a while) and a 1976 Caterham in 1600 Twin Cam guise. Family friends back then all had Peugeot 604’s in V6 form or Toyota Crowns 👍
Fabulous. Dont ever stop.
Favourite wing for me, is the Sapphire Cosworth wing and the best bit for me was the way the wing follows the line of car and has the rubber edge with body coloured flat part.
Great episode - and pulling in Luca di Montezemolo was class. Are you planning to indulge yourself with a special guest star each week?🤣
Gosh, what a show this week. Great stuff fella's. I agree with Manish on the lap of Suzuka, however, just not in a McLaren. :D
Gotta agree with Chris Cooper. A F2004 at Spa would be my choice for my last ever tank of petrol. That or a blast in an 11000hp nitro funny car.
New best thing on a Friday night here
Can I just check.... Neil Clifford is Neil Clifford of "Kurt Geiger" fame?
