@@Spullap It's never been stated, but since she's narrating this video (and not Dainsleif), it most likely means that she didn't forget him even after he erased his existence as the Balladeer. and only the Descenders can remember something that as been changed in Teyvat (or at least, from what we know).

So all the Bohemian Rhapsody references include: - His name: Scaramouche - His mother/creator: Ei aka Beelzebub (as in Beelzebub has a devil put aside for me) - His Collected Miscellany is called "Any Way the Wind Blows", one of the closing lyrics of Bohemian Rhapsody. - He's not a fan of dango (come on now), as in "Scaramouche, will you do the fandango?" - In his character teaser, Ashes, he literally says "I wish I had never been born at all". A direct reference to the lyric that says "I sometimes wish I'd never been born at all". There's probably more but this is all off the top off my head. Hoyoverse knew exactly what they were doing.

Yeah, but she mentions it's her job, so she could also work for a descender or is just otherwise very knowledgeable about everything. We know she travels worlds (idols etc.) but she could have developed that ability on Teyvat and it allows her to practically be a descender even though she's not originally one and therefore not classed as an alien/Descender. It's possible of course, but I doubt she's the Primordial One or The Second Who Came (as I presume one of them has died and the other is the leader/god/king of the Abyss). She could be the third, but that feels weird to me too.

honestly alice's EN VA is just so perfect. i love her little laughs.

Someone somewhere in Hoyo must've been a really die hard fan of the song Bohemian Rhapsody, so much so they based a character out of it. Whoever that is, give them the ultimate reward. The Wanderer is such an intriguing complex character, kudos to you Hoyoverse!

It's likely just a matter of convenience. Scaramouche is a name that already exists on the cast of Commedia dell'arte which is the basis for the Fatui Harbingers and so somebody on Hoyo might just have thought to reference Bohemian Rhapsody as well, basically hitting two birds with one stone. They probably didn't create Scara because of their love for Bohemian Rhapsody or something along those lines. His character was probably already created based on what the other Harbingers are based on, Commedia dell'arte. It was likely just a coincidence that Scara's name can also be a convenient reference to the song and so they went with referencing that too. If any other commedia dell'arte characters had a name that can also conveniently reference a popular song from a popular band, then they might have also done the same thing.

Spoiler! Alice seems to be aware of Irminsul's changing of Teyvat's history, she mentions having a special privilege, could have been some power bestowed upon her or she could be one of the Descenders mentioned by Nahida

I think we can list the 4 descenders 1 : Heavenly Principle 2 : Istaroth (even if she is a Phanes shade) 3 : Alice 4 : Traveler Why Phanes and the three other shades aren't here ? Because the Descender is a group of people that the Fatui discovered, but since Heavenly Principle (which is probably "The Second who came") doesn't want people in Teyvat to knows about the truth of Teyvat (forbidden knowledge) and created the Substainer (Asmoday/Unknown God) to destroy every people who know the truth

Almost every single line from Queen’s Bohemian Rhapsody was included in Scaramouche’s character design and story and I’m so mad it took me this long to figure it out.

I like how Dainsleif saw that Scaramouche was created by the electro archon and was like ,,Nope I ain't describing that"

this bohemian rhapsody refers to the italian play the queen's song refers to that play too.. i dont think mihoyo would refer wanderer's lore to the song but to the play since fatui are also characters of an italian play as well

To whoever is working at Mihoyo and is very fond of Queen's Bohemian Rhapsody enough to both make it a HI3 character's birthday (Flamechaser Eden!) as well as consistently remain to be lovingly referenced by Scaramouche's entire character, across voicelines, OST track names and pieces of lore references here and there (even the day when his first playable marketing post got released was on October 31 this year)....keep rocking! 🤣🔥🤘🔥

Im thinking that Wanderers story quest will have to do with erasing memories from Irminsul something that likely changes even Dain’s supposed omniscience but since Alice is not from Teyvat she remains unaffected by the erasure of scara’s past so that’s why she’s narrating instead of Dain this time around

I mean, I think the whole point of her saying that you can't change the past was to indirectly confirm that they're not going to erase him from Irminsul. Which is good, because that would be an awful way to deal with his character.

@@perfectchaos83 yes it does? That was the point of erasing Rukkhadevata: to erase the corruption from Irminsul we needed to erase her. And since Nahida can't find any info on her there, then the Tree truly was affected and changed.

@@_dragonflies_ The past still happens as it was, Irminsul just fucks with people's memories to make it comprehensible. Nahida straight up can't exist without Rukkhadevata existing. To illustrate my point, there's still evidence of Rukkhadevata's existence. Nahida realizes that she has experienced loss before after watching the Remnant of Rukkhadevata in her Character Quest. She likens it to seeing text erased from paper and still seeing the faint remains of what used to be there. If Rukkhadevata didn't exist, this metaphor simply wouldn't work. 3.3's interlude also confirms that this is how Irminsul works.

Alice doing Character Miscellany for Wanderer really does bring up the possibility that she's a descender, huh? And the way she did the intro and ending- which included her bringing up 'forgetting' and all that only proves this possibility further.

So Alice is really one of the decenders if she remembers Scara past

OMG I not only love seeing Wanderer's skills and abilities but Alice being happy and the excitement in her voice makes me want to get Wanderer lol, she seems so much more excited than when Dainsleif does some of these collected miscellany but I do like both of them doing it

I hope Alice voices the introduction video of every other character from now on...she has so much personality and really makes you want to listen to her

Actually there is a specific reason why she voiced Aloy and Wanderer introduction Because Dainsleif doesn't even know them (because one is not in Irminsul and the other one removed himself from it)
