You don’t need to know color theory to avoid muddy colors. Just avoid mixing orange/blue, red/green (Christmas) and purple/yellow. Or let one of those colors dry before you add the other. Because using those color combinations (called compliments or complimentary) can add energy to your work.

The ones I painted? They are from a white roll of paper I use to protect my desk surface. I cut them up to use to make collage papers with. Thanks for watching! ❤️

@@sandranykerk2280 I believe they take on that crinkle because of the water and paint mediums they catch. Really cool right? That’s why I can’t throw them away!

@@aimeebishop9851 I really am enjoying watching your tutorials - curious if you have a suggestion for those of us who don't have that awesome roll of paper with intuitive bits already painted on.....what else might we use to test out this technique. I love the rubber band mark making too, as an FYI. The organic quality is scrumptious. Thank you!
