I’m so excited to try this. Is the transfer marks permanent or do they need to be sealed ?

Aimee, I really love your videos and the organic, rustic, grungy, elegant look of everything from your supplies to the finished pieces, great! One question: You use the Saral transfer paper here but I went to Hobby Lobby and they have a light-colored wax transfer paper and also regular black graphite paper - do you think either of those will achieve the same result that you get with the Saral paper? Thank you!

Hi! Yes I think that any white transfer pape would work for this technique. The Saral seems to have better staying power where it doesn’t smear or rub off. So maybe give your transfers a spray of fixative or hair spray to keep that from happing. Thanks for watching my videos! So glad you are here.

Hi! Yes I use a spray fixative or sometimes I lightly pounce matte medium on top making sure not to brush it to much or smearing may occur. If it’s just in my journal I don’t worry about fixative for thee type of pages.

While watching your video, I had a concern. Don’t want to risk bringing it up here. Can you pm me somehow or let me know how I can contact you privately, please? Thx 😊
