Colin Kaepernick Story

Спорт

Perhaps the single most UNDER-reported aspect of Superbowl XLVII week. A loving white family, adopting a mixed race child and raising him to be a superstar. Odd that Colin was not filmed talking with his family, but perhaps time constraints did not allow it.
Given how difficult and expensive adoption in America is. And given how many families would desperately LOVE to adopt within our own borders, it's too bad this story didn't become a bigger angle this past week.

Colin Kaepernick is a very humble man and it shows where he gets his humility from. Mr. and Mrs. Kaepernick teach their children how to be humble. Colin shows how humble he is every single day in his game in football and in his personal life. People want to talk about how bad he is and how he's gay by taking pictures naked. Just because he takes pictures naked doesn't mean he's gay. How many women take pictures naked and no one talks about that woman being a lesbian. Stop judging people for what they do. You wouldn't want anyone judging what you do, so don't judge people for what they do.

You're joking right? When has he ever shown humility on the field or even off the field for that matter? Whenever he loses he never gives the other team credit. He just blames himself for it. He's overly confident in his ability to the point its considered recklessness and refuses to learn from those mistakes. He's the living definition of a narcissist. I could go on.

This adoption story plus stories of a lot of adopted kids (Steve Jobs) just encourages you to adopt. I told that to my sibling but her husband refuses to this day.

Usually there are sophomore year slumps, but it was his second year as a player and next year he's coming in as the starter. So he can either get better or play at the same level. But here's the problem, it usually take the league a year to figure out how to stop a new offense or player. And a player like Kaep who likes to run, can only escape that defining career hit so long. Remember Michael Vick? All the hype and talk about his speed, arm strength, and accuracy!

kaepernick is gonna be the best qb in the nfl in 4 years. im not a fan of the 49ers but i love kaeps story of getting one start and then stealing the show to go on to a superbowl appearance. one of the best mobile and passing qb's in the leaugue today.

To all of you who keep discussing what race he is, he's half black and half white. It's as simple as that. When black and white mix, the child can come out looking like a lot of other races, so no he's not Hispanic or middle eastern or whatever else. Some of you sound so ignorant. He's black and white...

I adopted four beautiful biracial children that I love dearly. I never had children of my own. I know why my children where already here waiting on me I just needed to marry their father because they had been taken from bio mom for abuse and neglect and paternity hadn't been established with my soon to be husband. Soon it was then her rights where terminated and I became there mother. I am leaving a lot out because it's long and complicated but so rewarding. They are 25, 23, 21, 19 now. Each on their path and I am a Glam Mother.
