    NFL''s plan was to get him to sign that waiver so he could no longer sue them. Then force some team to sign him for 1-2 years as a backup with a low paying contract then release him. After that then he would no longer be able to pursue any legal action and would be gone from the league for good. Good for Kap his reps didn't let him fall for that trick.

    The NFL picked the right guy to run the workout - ESPECIALLY - since it didn't go as planned. In this interview, Hue did a great job articulating what happened, expressing his opinions lightly, and carefully broadcasting the league's message. Kristine, as per usual, asked solid questions. Well done.

    After hearing Hue Jackson It’s clear that Kap wanted to control the narrative, press coverage, and the workout it self. Hue Jackson reported that he wanted to put Kap in pressure situation to see how he would do. To see his football knowledge. So it’s wasn’t going to be just throwing against air. When did they ask him? There were reports that he found out on Social Media. Is this true and if so why do they ignore that point? If it is not true then fine. All that was discussed was speculation. He looked good and in football shape so how does he not want to play football? A person who does not want to play will not work that hard. He had a 7.5% winning record. Had the worst record of any coach in 40 years but sits there like he is some expert. She cites his 30 years of coaching but neglects to mention his record? Coincidence. They then make assumptions about Colin? Why did they, (NFL) to pick him? There are plenty of better coaches retired or analysts would would have loved to do it and bring notoriety to their networks. Is he the only Black guy they could get? Why a coach with such a poor head coach record. He did ok as offensive coordinator, quarterback coach, running back coach, but nothing spectacular. Like how people normalize Trump they are normalizing the NFL behavior who have been shown to not act in good faith.

    The NFL should've communicated their concerns with Colin overall before meeting with him. They clearly came out for more than a workout. We can't blame Colin for changing things around. So, it's fair to say that there is literally 0 trust on both sides. But, I honestly wished that Colin woulda focused on just finding a way to work things out with the NFL right where the workout was originally scheduled since they are the ones who finally decided to come forward. This was probably his last chance to play in the NFL. This is sad man...

  • @nisha5669

    @nisha5669

    4 жыл бұрын

    Cd Ad The question is how was he supposed to work things out with them when they’re not trying to compromise they feel like because they’re the big dogs they don’t have to come down to his level and try to compromise considering the fact that this level of entrust that you speak of was built off of them. First of all let’s start with the fact that the NFL has never owned the fact that the way they handled the situation regarding Collin was out of line. There has never been any public acknowledgment by anybody in that office that they should have done better, they should’ve stood behind him.,that they should’ve asked more questions nobody has said anything because they don’t believe they did anything wrong. Which is a problem. The moment the Donald Trump started telling lies about oh he’s going against the military the NFL had the opportunity to stand up for their player put out statements and let it be known that he has no issue with the military but this is strictly about police brutality maybe had they done that things would be different but instead Roger Goodelle right along with the 32 owners all signed a rule that would permit players from protesting during the national anthem that they would all have to stand. it wasn’t until the players coalition reminded them that these players outside of these uniforms are human beings and they have rights and that that is a violation of their right that’s when they decided to change it and then after that that’s when they all came together and said that they were going to keep him out of the NFL. So the Not having trust comes from them not from him. And I am so proud of him for not signing anything that he’s not comfortable with especially when the people who are representing you the people you pay you’re a dollar to tell you it’s not a good idea and they tell you why so far they have had over 16 various different attorneys look at the waiver and they all say the same thing it is a good thing that he didn’t sign it.

If he had signed that revised waiver, he would have given up his right to sue, anyone from his legal counsel right to sue, his family, his kids, his kids kids right to sue. The only reason the NFL created this workout entrapment was to get CK to sign that waiver. They lost in court to him once, the big lawsuit is coming, they do not want to lose, but more importantly they do not want whats in the owner books to be revealed.

    We all know why. The facts are out there now. The NFL tried to set up a legal trap for Kap. They didn’t give him the standard waiver. The league WAS NOT trying to do the right thing. They tried to give the IMPRESSION that they were trying to do the right thing. And there were lies told by the NFL, which hurts their credibility revolving around the Kap situation. Kap was right and smart for not going through with the workout.

    I never understood why the NFL is going so far out of their way for a backup QB.People seem to forget that kap had loss his job multiple times and was only on the field due to injury.He was never an elite QB.All his best moment were of him running to make plays not throwing the ball. The NFL needs to stop getting involved with these race hustlers and get back to ball.This guy is using his ethnicity to bully a bunch of white dudes into giving him free money or a free job. Football should be a meritocracy again and not pr stunt.If he was as good as he thought he was, he would be on a team right now.There are players that have done way worse things then he has and are still in the league or came back to the league.

    Deon Lawrence actually he didn’t lose his job. He got injured, then his backup started, once he was 100% he got the spot back then opted out of his contract that off season and that’s when everything happened. People be talking out of their ass not knowing the facts. You sound dumb as fuck. Somebody who never played the game and was good on any level critiquing someone who has. In other words you aren’t qualified to even have an opinion worth taking seriously.
