Bought this Kayak and love it! Great for the handicap, don't have to lift it up on the roof of a vehicle. Takes some time to figure out how to pack it back up into the backpack. Would love a video to show how to pack it back up properly. Thank you!

The instructions tell you how to fold it back up. Both sides to center, then fold in half, and then fold the other way in folds that will fit into the bag. Just make sure it is very, very dry before you fold it back up and put it in the pack. I leave mine in the basement with a dehumidifier for days before I pack it back up. Hi, ive been using a k1 quickpack for years. Only using it on the rogue river in oregon. Its a similer, but way more open and splash version. I ordered the k5 and it is scheduled to be here today. Thankyou for this review. I havent seen any decent reviews of this guy, and was starting to get nervous about my purchase. Thankyou very much for making this video.

Just bought one on that same sale. Not the greatest boat in the world, but MORE than worth it at a hundred bucks. The pump isn't half bad, either.

Hi I have a stearns spree one single person Kayak,😊 I have been using for 30 years or so they are brilliant but they are getting more difficult to find or get spares for so it would be interesting to see how this one compares to the stearns for long distances I use the advance elements expedition elite now that you can cover distance in no time at all and is very comfortable all that you would expect from a eleven hundred pound inflatable kayak,however with 9.to 10 chambers to blow up and it is very heavy for small trips I was thinking of the k5 instead of the stearns thank you for the review great job.

Hi, Dave. The first inflatable I used was a Innova Safari. Innova sold to Gumotex some years ago. The Safari wanted to spin around if you didn’t use the skeg, but was interesting to try on a few overnight paddle trips.

Actually Innova has always been owned by Gumotex. The name Innova was created for the N American market, but sadly no importer/distributor since leaving the US 3/4 years ago. The Innova Swing EX is a decent paddler if you find a used one.

It only took about 5 minutes. It pumps up quickly.

How tall are you? Like how well do you fit into the kayak because I’m around 6’2” and I got this kayak wanting to try it out hoping I fit into it comfortably 😂

You have to actually inflate the boat lol. Needs to be stiff and tight in the skirt.the floor isn't inflated obviously in you vid. You can inflate the bottom to form the v and rigidity.

Your technique is weak.

In general I agree because there are much better kayaks out there, but this does fit into a little niche in the market.

@@DaveTheKayaker fair enough Dave. It gives one an inexpensive option (light weight) to use for getting into alpine lakes on a budget vs a $1,000 pak kayak. Even for someone on a budget to use on occasion. Likely better than the Intex cheapies.
