Everyone saying how can he be so good and only a purple don’t understand that once you train enough it comes down to athleticism and competitive desire which anyone can do with enough focus and commitment, just train everyday, eat healthy, stay away from drugs and alcohol and there you have a black belt standard practitioner the belt doesn’t represent your level you can be at the black belt level after 1 year with this focus it’s the individual not the color of the belt.

I just started checking out BJJ stuff on youtube and I'm very confused about it. Can somebody explain please why Cole is only a purple belt? I've heard in most martial arts the color of your belt represents your skill level, isn't it true for Jiu-Jitsu too?

@@SnowBlitz12 Sarcasm. They've done a great job with a lot of elements of their brand/service. But, for example, their App is absolutely terrible as far as search capabilities, UI, and overall UX. For as much as they are one of, if not _the_ premiere content producer in this space, they drop the ball in many areas.

I grew up in Hollywood and moved to a small farm town in the Seattle area. I know if I really want to train I have to move back to LA. Joe Rogan plugged the Machado Brothers school in Tarzana. I am good squatting but not prone. I love takedowns and taking the back.
