This kind of long lasting friendship in a band with four equal members also exists in Queen. It's very rare that 4 people manage to stay together for such a long time while working creatively, because that naturally causes controversy. But when they manage to do it, the result is all the better because it had to go through the band's process.

It does take special people to share like that in a band. Imagine these Scenarios in a band of four people 1- one or two guys are the most creative and come up with most of the ideas & songs, they have to be strong enough to share with the others who don’t create 2- the singer attracts most of the media attention, the others have to be strong enough to accept that 3- the pressure from friends, family, managers and so on who tell the creative folks that they re missing out sharing with the others who don’t contribute the same. It really takes special people to be that accepting. Not a huge fane but they have my Respect
