No doubt. Lucky us. We needed the snow.
I'm just now gearing up for my first long trip, 214miles to go stay with a cousin. It's 34F out there and I've got my heated grips and hippo hands mounted since a couple months ago. Winter riding is great

Nick - You have the T-Rex engine guards on your Super Ténéré. And as far as you go on it, I'm surprised you don't have the T-Rex highway pegs. I havent used them, but they seem like a useful option. Have you tried them? If yes, did you find them useful?

Honestly I just throw my leg on the top of the engine guard when I want to stretch out.
Tires tires! What brand has a soft compound for cold wheather on tarmack so you can get to the trail and ride at 20mph.

I can't say I know of any tire that performs well in the cold. I think at this point it's more about nobbies than about the compound because no tire will reach high enough temperature to perform well in environments where there's snow actively falling and collecting. If you do find out please do let me know.

@@pegasusmotorcycletours The temperature was below freezing for a week then reach 60F so I went for a ride. In a shaded north facing section the gravel road was still frozen. Lost traction at 45mph . Slid 60ft because the peg dug into the gravel . No injury but make you nervous.

Anlas winter grip plus, the only full winter tires I know of, Pogies are key for winter MTB, I bet they'd work great on a motorcycle, almost freezing I wear 5 upper layers, greetings from Calgary Canada
