@@MrRottman43055 I’m shocked how cheap midway usa had it for. Most of the other retailers are selling it for $250+

But those knives lean towards the sharpened beveled on the first one you lean towards the spine and on the second one you lean towards The Cutting Edge it helps penetration to lean towards The Cutting Edge

the serrations help pull the knife into the object sharp side first

Just got a black talon 2 today and it was my first serrated model from CS and I gotta say I honestly feel dumb for sleeping on the serrated edges… this thing is the sharpest knife I’ve ever held, I cut a piece of 550 paracord with it and it literally made me take pause, it was like cutting dental floss with a scalpel or something

Interesting... I usually only keep plain edge knives. I might have to rethink some long-held biases.

Serrations are underrated for real. I mean ive sawed branches with my spartan. Try that with a plain edge.

When the two knives are held side by side, the serrated blade is thinner at the tip and on my scale the serrated knife is close to an ounce lighter.

bullshit ! in this comparison edge style did not have any importance, serrations starts after about 1 sm from the tip and on plane edge the depth of the cut has not covered even 1 sm to think that serrations play a role in this stabbing test.

I never said the serrated edge helped I simply showed the difference in how the two stab. If you doubt it, then buy two of them and try it yourself

It's the slim flat grind and the and the hollow grind is thicker blade & tip , they both good but the Serrations New version is obviously a little more stabby and definitely slashy 😞

Fully serrated edges are a nightmare to sharpen.

I noticed, as I’m sure everybody else did, that he did not stab in the same spot, which brings up the question, was there something solid stopping the first blade?! These kind of demonstrations can be easily manipulated to get the results that one wants!

@ronhites4629 Exactly, not remotely buyin this. In fact, part of me thinks it was meant as satire.
