Foremost I am a Cold Steel Brother, and enjoyed seeing this model immensely. However I am also a Balisong user (daily since 1982). These knives are meant to be used lethally and non-lethally in both closed and open position. I am not a "flipper", nor do I let the handle leave my hand in the pugilistic techniques used for doing the Devil's business. It requires training and knowledge, otherwise the Balisong is poo-pooed or misunderstood. The Arc Angel has been re-released again by Cold Steel. We should be seeing it available soon for those who need a Cold Steel Balisong fix like myself.
