Them 2 boys must never have heard of heater plugs and gas torches.. They would have saved the engine instead of using that crap and destroying the engine

perkins 4012 engine rocker working and fuel injector rocker working looks great

Very interesting, I maintain gensets, much smaller but still a great job. ppl buy them cuz they need them and want them to be very reliable.

That amount of Easy Start will absolutely murder an engine of that size! Terrible way to treat an engine. Love the video though!

These guys do not care about the lifespan of their gensets. Listen, that Perkins may be hard to start but it'll sure as heck be there when a modern Caterpillar wouldn't.

Perkins is a subsidiary of Caterpillar.

Once started these old mechanical pump engines need to have the balls revved off them.
