12:38 Nah, fr Bayo was literally bottom tier on base Ultimate and everybody said she was bad because she was literally non-functional on release, patches were game changing for her. She got super buffed. She’s great now. -She got a whole 0.5 less SDI multiplier from 2.0 to 1.5 on her combos which is massive. -Heel Slide got a big end lag reduction, it basically only true comboed into UpB from the ground (Not even jump UpB). Now it combos into everything, even as a kill confirm with back air. -Dash Attack was also not a kill move before 200%. -Jab KO power was buffed twice and kills around 100% earlier which moved her up a tier by itself. That sht wasn’t even a kill move at 200% on the ledge, look it up. -Less landing lag on everything after using specials which is also massive. -Witch Time went from having the shortest counter window in the game bar none to being a good counter. Also massive. -A little new move called UpTilt which didn’t work on release and now it’s like her best neutral move and Main kill confirm. This buff by itself moved her up like 2-3 whole tiers. TL;DR: She was a very bad character indeed. Got multiple kill confirms after the buffs which made her go up a couple of tiers.

I think when they said base ultimate they meant when it was still in beta and peopel got early access to it, since she appeared to be really good still. I could be wrong though

Bayo still has dysfunctional moves eg; witch twist, dair, up tilt and fair just don't wanna work sometimes lol. Lima is just a better player and is good at game in general. Imagine if bayo were any better with consistent moves, a bit more kill power etc.

@@OkairMcLaren Jab also gets fucky at the ledge, and I’ve had moments where Heel Slide refused to work properly.

I want to point out that that guys have been playing several hours of competitive smash right before this match. They're both playing incredibly tired.

The risk/reward is insanely skewed in Bayonetta's favour, with Samus not being allowed to extend anything past true combos (and all she has there are 1-2s bnbs), play an extremely patient and grounded neutral and be careful even with Bombs at the ledge due to Witch Time. She can get reversed very easily by a competent Bayonetta at any point, if she overextends or goes for something minus even by the slightest bit, and losing neutral equals either taking 80% and being put offstage or dying outright.

Fr he does them 3 times in less than 30 seconds at 10:37 how is he going to win if he gets tilted by everything and the 3 times were his fault lol. 1st one - Obvious tech. 2nd one - What is he doing jumping on Bayo in neutral with a zoner with a move that starts from above. 3rd one - Shorthop Nair OOs is way faster since Fair starts from above and Lima Bat Within'd the second hit of Fair. Like idk, use that hand to SDI and play instead of complain everywhere that the MU is unwinnable lmao.

Dark Samus is the metroid prime, plain and simple.

Its so nice watching a Samus player get mad.

Finally I have found my people. I think if she did about 15% less damage on each move, she would be a much more entertaining character to watch. She legitimately was made like a DLC character, but without polarising disadvantage, and being the most uncheesable character in the game. It doesn't help that she has an echo that can be used based on mu, like she needed one. 10:35 although in all fairness if you're getting cheesed for the 4th time because your playing bad, I think anyone would get mad lmao 😂

Me da gracia lima en el 6:16 asta el final del juego su bayonetta empieza a moverse de manera basilona y a tragar daño creo que en su cabeza estaba diciendo: bru de verdad como llego aquí si todo lo que ase es campear?? Y si desde el juego contra riddles sisqui elegia el estadio pokemon y el campo de batalla para correr bajo las plataformas cubrirse con ellas y campear desgraciadamente esto no funciona ni con bayonetta ni con sonic y se fue 3-1 en ambos sets

That’s the excuse Sisqui uses to cope with the frustration of being bad at the MU. He kinda does random shit like grabs and upBs against her after getting tilted. Literally 8:56 Bayo - Samus MU should look like game 1 in this video. He just loes his mental after a couple of combos.
