Daniel, you must be ecstatic with your grades, you got a good grader on a great day. Thats Awesome for you...
In terms of how you organized your list and reveal, that was probably the best presentation for grading submission results I've seen yet. Awesome job, Daniel! And thanks for all the lessons, I have about 40 Morgans I now feel are worthy of grading.

Agreed 👍
I took an Morgan 1889cc and 1879cc in to Northern Nevada Coin and they gave me a valuation and grade on each coin before I decided to send them off to PCGS. The grades came back exactly as I had been told by NNC which is why I have no problem doing business with NNC.
Good Evening Daniel!!🍷 That was simply another indication that you are a MORE than fair, reputable dealer! I am happy you came out smelling like a rose!! 🌹

Incredible results. Would you mind sharing some of your luck with Ben the Coin Geek? He's had some rotten luck with his submissions.
This was a great learning experience for a rookie collector,20 year's of experience and PCGS was feeling generous.
Well done sir ! Best reveal ever ! I watched the first vid hoping I didn’t miss the second much appreciated!
Daniel, you better play the lottery today! I think PCGS gave you some gifts
Woe...I'm jealous! Those are absolutely beautiful Morgans.
Wow , never thought I would see PCGS overgrade so many coins as they did ! I have OGH 63's of many of the same dates you submitted that are much nicer than your 64's ! Merry Christmas
Congrats on your grades, you lucked out on some really well! Pcgs usually grades them pretty hard. Awesome on your 94p!
The 1892-CC and 1894 Proof are huge wins, wow. I see what you mean with the 1892, but I have some MS64 Morgans with worse looking cheeks than that. In TrueView, this coin looks pretty spectacular.
Understandable about the 2 coins you think are lower then what pcgs graded them as, but whoever gets them will still sell them as the pcgs grade since they said they were that grade, so you should sell them at that grade. You took the time to submit those coins. However they are currently your coins so you can sell them for whatever you would like. I do want to thank you for making all your videos. I love watching them and find a lot of good detail in them. Thank you.

Definitely trust your feedback on raw coins.
The PCGS fairy blessed your submission.
I think on some of them their grades were pretty spot on, and deservedly so. That Cameo is on of the nicest Morgans I've seen, I can't imagine how beautiful it is in person. There were also few that surprised me how generous they were, a full 2 -3 grades higher than expected. Great video, I learned much in both segments. Thank you for all you do!
Daniel, it shows that you are more conservative about grading than PCGS. The best deal might be getting those raw Silver Dollars you estimate between MS 60 to MS 62. 😮

Stevie Wonder was an honorary guest grader when those 21s went through. In all seriousness, I admire your integrity and honesty in regards to selling to them for what you believe they truly are. There's not many people in this business/hobby that would do that. 👍
I watched the original grading when it first came out and then watched this one. You are very good at your job ! 👍 Thanks for sharing !
Unreal grades for you. Maybe you should charge us for grading our coins before we submit. Name your price!!! Thank you, as always for your videos and knowledge.
Always good to see how you do compared to a grading company! I just started coin collecting and the Morgan's I've purchased had the cheek marks too and I thought they would really mark you down for them. Nice to see they don't as long as they are not too bad.
I wish that I could remember the name of the book that I had read several years ago about how coins were minted but I'm old and can use it as an excuse for forgetting. What I do remember is it mentioned that Morgan dollars early in the series often had a lot bag marks when they left the Mint. Grading companies are aware of the years and mints known to have the worst and supposedly consider that when they grade them. I don't know how true it is but it does make sense as to why some of yours got a higher than expected grade. I'm terrible at grading Morgan's and leave it to the experts. Congrats on your accuracy.
So nice to see the opposite of the normal tendency to see undergrading. Great 👍 video.
You sure had a great day at PCGS! That's remarkable. Beautiful collection of Morgans.
Great job on the coin grading comparison you should do some grading sometimes your really good at it. Great video.👍👍💥
I could look at Morgans all day long. Just keep posting Morgan videos, and I'll keep drooling. 😇
Daniel, that 1894 PR63CAM is beautiful! I would try to keep it if possible. I know you see alot of Morgans, but a coin that beautiful is SWEET! Love the gold shield holders too! Great video!

Well, nobody can accuse you of overgrading coins. This video may be a hint,that you may have some really good deals,on your raw coins. I agreed with PSA on a couple. The others I would have graded as you did. I have not sent any in for grading in a couple of years. Probably send in some CC's and others. Only about 2% of my collection have been slabbed.
I remember watching the video of you grading these before you send them. You have a great eye. It was really nice of them to bump up some of your grades. They are probably aware of the rock star that you are.🎉
That was fun but your grader was pretty generous on several of those coins.
Very educational video Daniel. Thanks again. Awesome job on the grading. You are spot on with your judgement. Impressive brother 👍😎

Great job on both the grading and the video! I agree with you about PCGS grades on some of those - I would say your grading is on point! Good job! 🥇
The 1894 MS63 CAM is one of my favorites. Congratulations to you.
You nailed it brother!!! I enjoyed watching
Sometimes they overlook bag marks as opposed to actual scratches but some of the cc's looked great! Maybe some looked lower grade because the dies were newer, the blast white ones, even little marks show up a lot more but doesn't make a lower grade, but better to error on the side of caution than over grade, your customers appreciate that.
Great video. Thanks for sharing.
Bet those grades put some pep in your step ! Nice job Daniel .💯
Congratulations on the grades! Nice looking coins.
The 1894 PR63DCAM is sick!

I'm surprised the youtube coin folks haven't said anything about the NGC securing a restraining order and preliminary injunction. Really need to look at coins even if graded. The next thing is the US Mint is instituting a "wait room" when popular products go on sale. Of course there are subscriptions, but they also stated that if you "camp out" in the wait room it doesn't mean you're first. The order is random up until noon eastern when coins usually go on sale.
Wow that's a great sub. Congrats!
As always good information Daniel Thanks for sharing great video 👍
1890-CC and -92-CC, I agree that they are really MS-63's. Still, the -92-CC has a nasty scratch on the lower neck, and some I think would maybe opine it should be knocked down to MS-62. So MS-64's? Nah. No one can convince me that PCGS has maintained standards, much less are very severe, or that large-quantity submitters do not get taps on occasion by the magical value-fairy. Those 2 little taps from her just created $2,500! Have you ever gone to a coin show and found that a dealer displaying a coin in an OGH graded MS-62 won't budge below the MS-63+ price? I have, just recently. In that case the difference in value was $225. What do you suppose that implies? Still, Daniel's is a nice lot of Morgans here!
Excellent video sir
I sent in a small submission of 6 coins received 1/23/23 for grading. It shows being encapsulated and imaged this week. I think I’m being punked. 😂
Great grades 👍

Coin grading is likely an area where AI will be used to ensure that there is a consistency in coin grading. Not necessarily replace, at least not right away
Very Cool 😎 👍
You got a pretty fast turn around!
Very nice
Wow u did 👍😊 good Thanks
It's tough. Most overgrade, but knowing you are going to compare grades likely made you get too conservative. The other thing is... professional graders know how to grade not just condition, but condition for the year, which varies. This is why it is so important for coins to be graded by a trusted third party. I always enjoy this type of video. Cheers!
@CoinHELPu

Knowing I was going to compare had very little bearing on my grading. This isn't my first time doing a video like this. I do it to educate, my results are not that important except to learn and educate.
Thank you for sharing, I agree with what you thought they would grades 90% all I can say is you got a happy grader on a good day because I seen many times with Morgens just like that where PCGS would have given ms62 or details grade to all of them and left you wondering what you did wrong? It dose give me some hope on a few I want to grade I may give PCGS a try see what happen, but I'm still thinking of using one of the other company just not sure yet.
I'm a conservative grader but you're even tighter than I am. This way customers can see that you're not trying to rip them off, which will bring you repeat customers.
Great coins
Nice.
wow you got your coins back fast!

It's going to bite you eventually. You don't want to count on NNC grades.
It’s a big order and you are a dealer. And now new competition from CAC all helped you getting better grades. I thought some of the PCGS 64s was stretching it some.
@CoinHELPu

I am not a PCGS coin dealer and PCGS doesn't give me any special favors and doesn't even know I am a dealer. I submit under my name. This video is from almost a year ago and before CAC came out as a grading company. So you couldn't be more wrong in your comment. It amazes me how people listen to those that make such claims and believe it at face value, as if dealers get special treatment at PCGS lol. I knew a dealer who was on the board of PCGS and Dave Hall called him a mentor, but he had to submit hundreds of coins a month to even have a chance at getting that high grade, and still had cabinets full of near miss coins that he badly just wanted to unload.
I had an express submission for 2 Morgan’s and a early 50c and they are still stuck sitting in grading date received 2/15 how did your regular order finish so quickly over my express makes no sense I did a separate world submission also sent in same shipping box and that one has the grades ready already

I’d be less disappointed that my coins got a higher grade from PCGS than i valued the coin. I’ve seen some of you unboxing that you weren’t as nearly as satisfied as you are here. Do you believe your grading skills are better or that you’re blessed on this submission? Congratulations my friend.
Do you select a grade value (before PCGS grading) when submitting coins? Obviously you submitted nice coins but do you think the grades you received were affected by being expedited and the number of submitted coins?
@CoinHELPu

You have to select a value to send. You just guess. No, on the rest of your statement. I don't think that's it at all.
I have a question for you, that are more experienced than I… I only buy graded twins and sometimes I wonder when I buy a coin for 30 or $40 that is graded, I wonder who created the coin with this low dollar value? I’m trying to collect one of each type of coin and some of the more modern ones are not so expensive and yet they still are in slabs - can someone explain? I would think he would only grade a coin if it’s value was over 90 or so dollars. Thx

I’m curious, how do you as a coin dealer determine the estimated grades of your Morgan Dollars (MS grades)? Which do you look at more (or knock of points because of nicks more), the fields or the details? I’m asking because don’t usually collect Morgans (Large Cents are my jam) but just acquired a pretty big load of em, some of which are in pretty nice condition and am deciding what to label them (personal collection) ;) I have done a little research but I’m curious on what you say. Anyhoo, great video as always! I am just as surprised as you are that a lot of these you graded under (I thought pcgs under graded them as well)!

No big mint coins being graded. Maybe they caught up some.
From my understanding a Morgan dollar that dosen"t have at least some bag marks or roll rub on the high points is most likely fake. The mint handling of these coins was to say the least..rough.
@CoinHELPu
Жыл бұрын
Not accurate, Morgan dollars are known for the die pairs that struck them. Easy to ID that way.
So if you buy these coins raw and you pay the seller at an “MS-63” by your grading, and then get it back as MS-64, do you ever feel like the seller was underpaid? Or is it seller beware.? With some of these coins, 1 grade higher is a huge bump up in value.

I think your undergrades discounted the strike. The CCs always command compassion with the graders. The 93 PR and 94 were stunning. You’re losing your touch! 😂. What services did you choose and how long did it take them to complete? My last order with them on economy was 6 months and I quit sending at that point. Im not going to support that kind of poor performance. TJ
@CoinHELPu

I didn't discount anything, the MS64 and MS63 differences are negligible at best. Almost all these coins had good strikes but there's plenty of high grade coins with weak strikes. I was conservative on purpose. I erred on the side of caution. But three of these coins are over graded and I will stick to that.
