If Cohiba’s quality control reaches the same level as Davidoff, it will be invencible.🤐

For me Davidoff is the winner and has a lot more pronounced notes, the burn time was the same as Siglo. Cohiba is overhyped. But that's just my opinion

I just began exploring cigars. The first I tried was a Cohiba Robusto. It absolutely sucked. Flavour was average, had defects in the wrapper and started falling to bits. Total joke. Tried a Davidoff Aniversario No. 1 afterwards, so much nicer, smooth and flavourful, very well made by comparison. Looking forward to trying more Davidoffs amongst other new world cigars. Don’t think I’ll ever go back to Cohiba again.

I'm a sole Davidoff 2000 smoker in short; It’s mild/light very creamy cigar with a pleasurable fragrance. The scent is so nice many will ask what cigar it is. Taste is objective thing for all; but If you like mild cigars or are a beginner or veteran the Davidoff 2000 is a sure bet.

Had a Davidoff 2000 today as weather was nice. The cigar has an easy draw so you need to smoke it slow and not let the cherry glow too much otherwise the cigar gets too hot. Otherwise better than the no.2 which is very mild.

I want to try a Davidoff some day. I've never had a Davidoff cigar from what I remember, maybe once like 4+ years ago but I can't remember. They're not cheap but they seem quality. I might get Fuente first though. I need to build my collection with entry level to mid range sticks.

I just tried the davidof signature 2000 2 weeks ago and a cohiba siglo 4 yesterday and it's not even close.. first I thought I would like the dafidoff more the smell of the cigar before lighting it up was amazing way better then cohiba but when you smoke them you understand that cohiba is a way better and more enjoyable cigar. Davidof burns way more quicker and it's not quite enjoyable.

@@julian0693 Okay. I understand. I had my first Davidoff recently as well. Yes, smells very nice. But the taste was slightly lacking, it was still a very good cigar though. Just not worth the price for my liking. It was a Davidoff Nicaragua Robusto. I have another Davidoff waiting in my collection, I hope it's even better. The Late Hour Churchill. I also have boxes of Cubans.

I absolutely Love cigars and I've only had one Cuban, a Montecristo no.5. I know what I like at this point and all my interest is hanging on just ordering different Cubans and going through them like I have the NCs to see what I'd like to keep stocked in my humidor. Seems like anything Cohiba (Habanos) does is highly reviewed and rated! I do really enjoy Davidoff as well.

Well done, good video. "To each their own," as the saying goes. This afternoon, I'm planning on savoring a La Flor Dominicana Ligero Natural L 400. Is any offering from Cuba comparable to that? I rather doubt it.

I've had a couple of real Cubans. They were given to me in a trade by serious cigar afficionados I've met. You're right in that Cubans have their own signature profile as does David off and a few other companies such as Aganorsa Leaf for example. Never had a real Cuban Cohiba but I enjoy the rare Fuentes/opus. An aged montecristo espada hits the spot for me. Also I don't think people prefer new world it's just that it's harder for us to get real Cubans. It's easier for me to find rare opus varients than to order Cubans online and have to wait months till arrival and then having to rest the ontop of that. I travel for work so it's pretty hard for me to obtain Cubans. I don't like loose draws either most of the guys I have met agree on that. Part of the reason I don't smoke padron often. I've heard of cigar reps who have rare limited edition cigars from the US meeting up with guys in Europe and trading out for some Cubans. Anyways love your videos and good to see someone with the same passion for this hobby

I've seen a lot of people around writing and saying that non cuban cigars have reached cubans in quality, that non cubans are good cigars, that they could compare to cubans, and all that jazz. Truth is cubans are far ahead of any other cigar from whatever place, whatever brand; they're just on a league of their own. I've smoked a couple of quai d'orsay coronas claro lately, nothing too fancy nor too pricey at around 10-12 punds each, yet even at that rather medium point for cuban cigars there isn't really anything close to it outside of cuba.

‘New World’ is such a stupid category. Nicaragua, the Dominican Republic, Honduras have nothing in common, from the perspective of cigars, other than they are cigar producing countries that aren’t Cuba: that is an obviously arbitrary category; there is no reason to put them in a group against Cuba.

Davidoffs are too open, and it results in a much shorter than expected smoke time. However, many Cubans are packed/rolled so tightly, that they're completely unsmokable.

Ain’t no cigar in this world that can beat the cuban flavor period. I get it there expensive but forget about it meng. If rather save money and smoke a good cuban d4 mcristo n2 than any other nica or Dominican cigar out there. I just wish cuba had better construction to there cigars.
