Great spot for the sampling of a cigar and then the purchase of a box. Staff are always friendly and helpful. Good selection of spirits as well. Love sitting out front of the shop and relaxing with a smoke! Please do more of these as they will be great to discover more quality cigar sampling lounges in London.

I keep my logs at 65% but for the first time I've taken the cigar out to "dry box" or whatever approx 4 hours before smoking and my word. It's so much nicer. I didn't dislike the d4 but it wasn't one of my faves. Anyway first time I've done this so may not be relevant, but this cigar is lovely after a bit of time to acclimatise. P.s I'm in UK so more humid than usual too. But this is so so sweet (I'm on the final 3rd)

Yeah, I get a box of 10 each week from Bulgaria or Andorra, I’m essentially buying my smokes to stock up for the next 12 months. Costing me a bit of cash now, but nothing like what I’d be spending this time next year.

LOL, I'm a cigar aficionado from China. To be frank, I wouldn't recommend this cigar as it can't represent the actual flavor of Chinese tabaco and it is not cheap at all. These cigars are made for some foolish smokers that know absolutly NOTHING about cigars. Most Chinese cigar smokers tend to smoke Cuban cigars and they only somke native cigar due to the budget concern. If you are interested in Chinese tabacom you can try Yi Chuan Lao Fang from great wall. If you want to try cheap Chinese cigars, you should try Huang He Lou, Xue Zhi Meng No.9 or 10. I wouldn't recommend any Chinese cigar that are over 30 USD. Also, persoanly speaking, I will never buy a new world high-end cigar as I'm a big fan of Cuban cigars.

Montecristo no 4 was my first real cigar I smoked cigarellos before, it was my first proper cigar and still one of my favorites today. Can't go wrong with romeo y julieta very good paired with black coffee 👌

I like tge second band but yeah they could have made it differently like same style as tge montecristo logo or something idk

Gurkhas are fine. They do have their problems. I am a visual guy and I do love their bands and names. That being said their quality is decent. They are basically just like Rockys in my opinion. Unfortunately they dont have their own factories so all their cigars are made by a bunch of other makers. Unlike Ashton who has Fuente make half of their cigars and Pepin make their other half. So consistency is top notch there. My biggest complaint is like Rocky I swear there is only 8 to 10 different blends but they slap different bands on them to make it look like they have 50 different blends. I’ve smoked numerous Gurkha samplers and each cigar tastes like the last one in the pack. So that kind of pisses me off.

Not sure I would trust Chinese cigars… I mean, I get it’s not supposedly a Chinese puro and the binder / filler / wrapper is Dominican etc but I’m not sure if that can be verified.

Hey! Don´t want to be judgy about our chinese cigar friends, but i spent some time in Hong Kong and Mainland China - got to know some chinese cigar smokers. And in my opinion, the more extroverted prestige smokers over there are smoking their really expensive cigars no longer than to the first half... to me cigar smoking seems to be something what you do in public to show your wealth. So no shock that your cigar was only good in its first half ;)
