you think Rey would make such a big move late in his career? it would be cool to see but I think Rey is too much of a wwe legend at this point. they’d do anything to keep him like make him and his son a tag team and make him the face of 2k 😂 (which is beautiful by the way, he deserves that and more)

One of my favorite mania matches the way both of them carried each other and told a story of how Rey is trying to destroy Cody’s face and Cody is after revenge in a way to physically dissect the match (knee) and critique different styles of Both of the athletes momentum and the way at the end how Cody got the win (in his home state) even tho he was the heel you can still hear them cheer both of them

I love how he mentioned that when he was working with the mask because of the “deformed” face. And he said it was like Phantom of the Opera meets American Psycho. And it was. Cody went from this flamboyant, arrogant and narcissistic character to a very twisted, demented and vile person. And all of it was based off of his looks being messed up. And it was a good angle for him. I thought it was that next step closer to him getting over. But it was absolutely right, it consumed him and it was a work of art. Especially when he gave those people them bags to put on that was crazy but it had to be that in order for it to work.
