BlueBox if you don’t notice the singing then that’s a bad thing. The point of live performances is to showcase their vocals, guess downstait just don’t stand out live.

You knew minute Cody had this entrance, he was never winning the match, literally going through Triple H Syndrome, go for some big elaborate entrance and lose the match.

When a band starts asking the crowd to sing that's usually the sign of a bad performance, lol. If they would have just focused on the song they may have pulled it off better. I don't think it was as terrible as people are saying either but i can't dispute the live band made the entrance worst than if they had just played the recording.

He had his entrance at wm 38 to 40. 4 times now since he had his entrance at wm 40 twice

The performance was too raw. It can be a good thing but in this case i just missed the original version with the most important part of the enterance, "Wrestling...has more than one Royal Family" Oooohh chills everytime

I love watching Cody and Dustin's relationship now in AEW, they were quite successful in WWE as a team, but the bond seems to have legitimately grown now that they're away from that environment.

Well I personally ask myself why is he even still fighting solo? Since he lost his title match to Jericho he can't even win the title. So if he still wants to wrestle in aew and win titles why not go to the tag team division? At least MJF probably will hold the title in the future.

Tbh this whole match kinda felt over self-indulgent. It was a great feud and buildup, but this whole match felt like Cody overthought it and had way too much going on. The live band, the tattoo, the like 10 person entrance for the face, the whole match structure, it just felt like way too much.

I think it must be the sound system there or something as to why it didn't sound as good. Downstait is amazing live! Lots of energy. They're from my hometown of Fort Wayne, Indiana. Seen them live last summer during the hottest day of the year. They where amazing!!! Sounded amazing!

Being there live it was a good moment. The crowd was hype for the performance. Arrow coming down with him didnt hurt 👍👍👍. I wonder if Felicity was in the crowd anywhere ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️

I was there live. The sound mix here doesn’t do this justice. The building was shaking because the music was being played so loud. Way louder than other entrances. Yeah, the lyrics sound a little weak on this mix. But it’s like any live band. I’ve been to plenty of live bands that don’t sound as clean as their album tracks, but the energy made up for it. The massive volume made up for it sounding a little sloppy. And the whole crowd was going crazy with a sustained loud pop. Great moment that sounds a little less great here on KZread. Turn up your speakers loud and just imagine being there.

At first i was like "yeah the band sucks but its cool that they have a live theme entrance..." ...but after some seconds i was like "you know what? this really sounds like a shitty random garage band, they are ruining the big event atmosphere". please next time keep the "theme performed live" moment for anyone but cody. not his fault obv but downstait just sucks. (my dream would be to have little V performing "battle cry" live for kenny)

I will say being there live it seemed much better. However, the bracelet lighting effect looks pretty sweet on video.

The live performance wasn't the best version of Kingdom but I'll keep replying for that thing that played before it. I love it when they play the full version of that

The voice isn't actually that bad. But the sound mixing and micing are horrendous.

I'm optimistic that it was just an acoustics or amplification issue that made the band sound so bad.

live sound and recorded sound are two different things :)

Local Ft.Wayne Indiana friends of mine. All big time wrestling fans as they have written many theme songs for other wrestlers as well. Dolph, Miz, Rollins to name a few. I'd probably be over amped too lol performing for wrestling fans. I remember seeing these guys many times local bars and on tour. Lead singer is also a wrestler (starting out) of course.

The audio may have been shit but still an epic moment for Cody 💯

Can't wait for Downstait at WrestleMania maaann!
