I saw someone make realistic water physics by spawning a bunch of invisible unanchored spheres and placing the water terrain material where the spheres are. You can also make it so the spheres don't collide with the player using collision groups.

Yep. Big devs just work on something big and are always serious, itnwas like that for Big Games, but now Big Games changed with their pet sim 99 game Because there is a lot of jokes inside the game, example: if you name ur pet "joe" when you press confirm it will change to "joe mama" or the " welcome to Ohio " one outside the spawn location.

I think that the speed at which the water spreads out should depend on the size. That way small droplets don’t dissapear immediately and large waves don’t take minutes to fully spread.

I’m a simple man, when I see a cone video, I watch.

Add a weather cycle to the game with disasters like flood, lightning and infection and make it so that you can put rubble from ruined buildings in a truck and drop it off at a dump and also make it so that you can rebuild buildings.

ive made a lot of simulations bfore, and let me say that as a SINGLE CONTROLLED gimick, its fine. However, you’d need SO MUCH optimization to run like 5 at once without exploding your computer

it doesnt conserve volume very good tho for a true water similation you would have to use particles instead but however if you just did that it would be quite unrealistic irl water particles get repelled from each other i think its the electromagnetic forces that are repelling water particles apart but yeah thats how you would make it more realistic
