Thanks for your suggestion Nikou. Leica Captivate has the ability to compute an indirect measurement in real time (e.g. with a TPS offset) while retaining the coding and linework information. However, intersections are typically COGO functionalities which are calculated in a second step. In any case, we always keep an eye on those small details that make our customers' life easier and we hope that future enhancements of Leica Captivate can also address better some situations involving indirect measurements.

Very good software. I have some recommendations on it. First of all a function that miss from all the brands in the market. The chamfer function. In many cases needed to measure a corner which is not accessible or its a little destroyed. In that cases it would be useful to compute automatically the corner as an intersection of two lines with the same code.

Also useful would be a computation of a best fit line. A lot of times when I measure a building i take many shots in every side for more precision or to avoid mistakes especially when measuring with a mo prism mode. Then I compute best fit line using civil 3f function.

Last add functionalities such as perpendicular from point to line, offsets (horizontal and vertical) etc

+kamal jarada 1) Tap & hold on the line > Edit line > Geometry tab 2) Highlight the point after which you want to insert the point > Press Add 3) Select which of the points in the job you want to add > Press OK

Can you please add insert point to line on the line work menus, it would be very helpful and quicker.
